  • spurs is very wasteful

  • @wde.tac So were RB. If anything Tottenham are lucky to be just 1 behind.

  • @alx30 I dont agree. spurs have more clear chances. draw is more likely

  • Too bad for everyone who watched this Mourinho-Spurs bore-fest, you missed a brilliant attacking game. That 90 minutes of your life defecated all over.

  • @What4 Nobody cares about Atalanta +1

  • @What4 Nobody cares about Atalanta, mate.

  • @splint3r Atalanta are a very good attacking team and play attractive football..not to mention they score a lot of goals..xg also suggests they have been the most unlucky team in serie a this season..so it would be better if u watch them more.

  • @splint3r Not much of a football fan, are you?

  • @What4 On the contrary.

  • Oh come on! 6.6 for Sabitzer is a joke! And Lo Celso is the best outfield player with 7.6?

  • @BeautifulLoser Lo Celso has 4 dribblings, Sabitzer once. Dribblings are overrated in whoscored.

  • @Permante Celso is a very good footballer, Laimer isn`t. Celso has 3 shots, laimer 0, Celso 74 touches, Laimer 54, headers won 2 for Celso and 1 for Laimer. Celso also took 6 corners ... It all adds up to that rating and not just because of those dribbles, believe me.

  • @neumi17 Oh come. Lo Celso is the same off-the-shelf overrated Argentinian talent Lamela was. Hyped as a young player with a slow but unrelenting descent into mediocrity. Both Laimer and Sabitzer are consistent.

  • @BeautifulLoser that may be so, but in this game he actually was spurs' best outfield player, and better than laimer/sabitzer...

  • @pyt55 Laimer and Sabitzer did a superb midfield pressing. They were essential for the result. Lo Celso was not.

  • @neumi17 Same is valid for Celso and Sabitzer

  • @Permante I know. But based on dribblings RBL should have topped the Spurs at half-time. They didn't. The Spurs had a better rating. I think this is just an EPL biased bonus. EPL teams and players get better ratings no matter how they play.

  • RB Leipzig deserve a lot of credit for the intensity they showed (first half particularly). They looked like the home team. However, their finishing was poor. Does this reflect a lack of experience? did the occasion get to them? Tottenham played a lot better second half and deserve credit for battling through. It was never going to be easy without Kane and Son.

  • @MEHJones Even if Son was playing the it wouldn't have changed the result. Because Lamela (who had the biggest impact in second half), Bergwijn (most assists in erevise) and Moura (who literally made Tottenham better without Kane last season) are all extremely capable players. The player Tottenham missed a lot was Kane plain and simple. All those crosses and Moura was forced to head head them;. If Kane was there he could have easily converted one of those. In short Tottenham lacked physical presence in the Leipzig box. Son is good. But he is tactically replaceable(because of the similar players in the bench). Kane isn't as Tottenham didn't have any reliable center forward right now.

  • @Ffaris claiming that Moura literally made Tottenham better playing without Kane is also a bizzare statement. Good luck backing that one up with some stats (not just one or two cherry picked matches).

  • @Ffaris Son had scored SIX goals in his last five matches so it's utterly ludicrous to pretend that he would not have been a useful player to have available. His goals have been key to beating Manchester City twice in the past 12 months.

  • correction Dusan Tadic (14) and Hakim Ziyech (12) has the most assist in Eredivise. Bergwijn is third in assist charts (10)

  • @MEHJones Timo has had a bit of a dry spell, it showed in his lack of composure/confidence in front of goal. They deserved to be up 2-0 by halftime, and probably will do that 2nd leg in Germany.

  • @tkr fair comment

  • Mourinho, now you've gone and lost a fan (maybe more than one). This was really bad.

  • Ok, the score must have been 1-4 but otherwise it is ok.

  • Miss Pochettino

  • @tuhin Everybody did when they heard Mou is coming in ...

  • Kane would've put that header in :/

  • @MEHJones Yeah, lots of good corner crosses but all to waste, wonder how they don't have a sub #9 capable of scoring those.

  • So how is this half-time rating possible? Spurs 6.63 vs. RBL 6.60? The only thing the Spurs do better than RBL are tackles. So it's not Whodribbled.com anymore but Whotackled.com? Or is it the EPL bonus that makes the Spurs better? This site has become a joke! xD

  • @BeautifulLoser The scores got stranger lately.. Dortmund got 6.76 against PSG 6.74 even though they were quite a bit better and won.

  • @alx30 Couldn't understand the half-time rating of Dortmund vs. PSG either. Dortmund 6.45 PSG 6.61, with Dortmund having 7 attempts and PSG 2. Quite confusing.

  • @BeautifulLoser Where did that 0.03 (6.63)came from anyway. I mean how can you rate a performance so deep

  • @alxdru That 0.03 is just math.

  • @BeautifulLoser You're right 100%. RBL is on double higher level

  • @BeautifulLoser Tottenham have blocked 6 shots?! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • @MEHJones You win! :-)

  • Werner is really terrible for a striker, don`t know how he could score so many goals. He is in front of the empty net and shoots directly at the goalie ! He does that on a regular basis ... He is really fast and works hard but is output is almost as bad as the one from Coman at Bayern.

  • @neumi17 He's one of the top scorers in Europe. Nobody cares how he scores if he scores that much.

  • @BeautifulLoser Yet he is terrible with his conversion rate and decision making. He hasn`t scored a goal from open play in 5 games now.

  • @neumi17 On the other hand he has an incredible awareness. But let's take a look at the figures. He scored 20 goals in Bundesliga with 4.1 shots per game. Mbappé managed to score only 15 goals with the same number of shots. Lewandowski scored 23 with 4.6 shots per game. Neymar scored 13 with 4.7 shots per game. Messi scored 14 with 4.8 shots per game. The greatest player of the galaxy a. k. a. CR7 scored 20 with 5.6 shots per game. Only Immobile has a better conversion rate: 26 goals with 4.0 shots per game. In other words: every ten games, Werner takes one shot more than Ciro. So, it looks to me as if the whole thing about Werner's poor conversion rate is a myth.

  • @neumi17 it was interesting how Timo Werner took that strike that resulted in Lloris save. Harry Kane who is technically terrible and has an average first touch scores a lot of goals, because he doesn't take much touches and shoot powerfully as soon he recieves the ball-the keeper the doesn't have much time react to it. Werner did the exact the opposite, took lot of touches and his shot power was you average and that resulted in Lloris save because Lloris had lot of time to react to it.

  • @neumi17 dude, u hatin badly on him and germans at all, we know it. Hes still young and as u know he has mental problems, kinda happy for him to score that importnant penalty. He is very fast and has very good finishing. Its no wonder experts rate him so highly.

  • @koevasd123 Well, some do, others don`t. Bayern for instance doesn`t think he is good enough for them, since he lacks ball control in tide areas and misses a lot of chances. Sure he has scored a lot of goals this season but also has missed at least as many opportunities. He is very fast and agile but the package is not convincing enough yet.

  • @neumi17 Messi, Neymar, CR7, Mbappé, Salah, Benzema all have a worse conversion rate than Werner.

  • WOW! Checkout the chalkboard, the José bus is near completion.

  • Tottenham looks pathetic ! What is this ? PL vs Championsship league ?

  • @neumi17 When did they look particularly strong this season? Would be strange if they get far in CL this year.

  • @neumi17 equally RB Leipzig's finishing has been pretty awful so far.

  • @MEHJones That`s for sure

  • After the statement by forsbergs wife he hasn't started a game since

  • @mendu123 what did she say?

  • @MEHJones That he gets treated like shit ...

  • @MEHJones She said that the club treats him like sh*t after all that he has done for the club.

  • Looks like Ampadu is starting for RB Leipzig - good player, not to be underestimated!

  • Draw with goals?

  • over 3,5 offsides for Leipzig

  • This match has been discussed as no strikers vs no defenders but I'm not sure means that there will be lots of goals. Both sides will be thinking about the second leg and it might end up being surprisingly cagey. I'm amazed at how many people are making Tottenham favourites given that Dier is just not the player he was and how collectively they seem to have surrendered the central midfield in recent matches. As much as I like Moura, Son is also a big loss for Tottenham. Nevertheless, Tottenham have a good record at home and RB Leipzig's recent away form has dipped. Werner is a dangerous player but apparently he doesn't like noise and there should be plenty this evening. RB Leipzig will probably make more chances but Jose's deal with the devil is working at the moment. Bergwijn or Dele to score for Spurs. Totttenham 1-0 RB Leipzig

  • @MEHJones Did I say cagey? I must have meant wasteful!

  • 2-0 Spurs.

  • spurs 2-0 rb leipzig

  • Werner 0-3

  • 2.5 should be the 1st half total!

  • I heard Tottenham has no strikers and that they will try just not to lose because of that, so I guess that Leipzig should be favorite for this match

  • @hellreaper Spurs have striker Steven Bergwijn

  • @nexus747 so they have no strikers then

  • @uefalona He can play as a winger or as a lone striker. He is a lot better than people think.

  • Total is 2.5! What a JOKE!!! 3-2 Tott.

  • 3:0

  • 1-2

  • Rasenballsport to win, Daniel Olmo Carvajal to score.

  • @Patrikovic He won`t be in the team

  • @neumi17 i see him coming in and scoring

  • Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals @ 1.95 odds

  • Steven Bergwijn to score.

  • 0-1

  • Dani Olmo and Forsberg should be restored! JN needs to play very safe and get an away goal. We need the rapid Liepzig with Werner banging,EBH has already destroyed PSG so he is reaching out to you Timo!!!!

  • @Futbol101 Both players won`t be in the starting line up

  • As a biased fan of bundesliga even for me Tottenham have a clear advantage advantage in this tie. 1) Mourinho has been scouting Leipzig a lot recently with an intent to develop a plan to stop Leipzig 2) Leipzig had a bad patch recently in which they drawn 2 games and lost two game against Frankfurt 3) Leipzig lost against Frankfurt by 5 goals in 2 matches because they simply parked the bus against Leipzig and forced them to shoot at a safer distance.; so that's Mourinho base instinct so he won't much problem doing that. 4)Rasenballsport Leipzig have a freaking injury crisis. EPL fartboy are moaning about Son injury that isn't that much devastating coz they have competent replacement in Bergwijn & Moura. Whereas Leipzig has lost all of their central defence (they don't have any central defenders left let that sink in) and their first choice cm (of Kampl and Adams) are all out injured. If Tottenham don't win this game than they prove themselves be a very terrible team.

  • @Ffaris Yes, I agree on that the Liepzig defender crisis will problaby settle the score.

  • @Fromhell Injury crisis/unavailability not only to all of cb but also first team central midfielders. Also the way frankfurt dismantled Leipzig in two separate occasion.; which was quite frankly by parking the the bus. Mourinho is master bus parker. Now Mourinho also has Pochetino styled pressing with him. This would easily enable Mourinho to execute a game plan a very similar to that of Frankfurt against Leipzig. I hope Leipzig kick spud arse as a biased bundesliga supporter. But I'm realist. Supds are clearly the favorites here.

  • @Ffaris Yeah, but why would he park the bus if the other side has major defence issues right now. Also they are at home and in the next match Leipzig will have more options while Kane and Son will still be injured.

  • @benj well apparently Spuds were parking the bus in most of the game.

  • @Ffaris Did you watch the game? That was not them parking the bus (like they did against MC, for example). Tottenham just couldn't get shots, failed in midfield until Mourinho swapped.

  • Son out injured :(

  • @MEHJones- For the season.

  • @SteveHyland Yup!

  • @SteveHyland hey buddy. How is your password search going? I hope you have not totally FORGOTTEN about your poor Aussie-Croat friend ;)

  • @Ffaris- I don't follow, fella. (?)

  • 2-1 Mourinho is European beast

  • @koziol.mutant Kane and Son are injuried...He has no attack and he already said he will just try not to lose. He had very bad luck with player's injuries

  • @koziol.mutant He WAS

  • Hopefully Forsberg will start, he has been RB Leipzigs best player so far in the champions leauge

  • For those of you who never really heard of or seen RB: they're pretty good this season and usually strong away. Style similar to Liverpool. It helps having a much more experienced coach, but Tottenham still more likely to drop out against them than not.

  • RB Liepzig need to start Dani Olmo here mate!
