Bayern
- RB Leipzig have confirmed Marcel Halstenberg will miss Saturday's game as the local health office have not given permission for his 14-day quarantine to be cut short. Kevin Kampl is suspended.
- Dayot Upamecano is touch and go with a thigh injury and may not be able to play against his future club. Reported Liverpool target Ibrahima Konaté is likely to step into defence.
- January signing Dominik Szoboszlai has adductor problems and has still not played his first game for the club.
- Willi Orban may play with a cast on his fractured hand, but Angelino is struggling with a muscle injury. Swede Emil Forsberg could play as a false nine up front.
- German international Benjamin Henrichs has returned from a knee injury, but Konrad Laimer is still on his way back from his own knee injury.
- Robert Lewandowski has been ruled out for four weeks in a massive blow for Bayern Munich. Lewandowski is currently on 35 league goals for the season, just five shy of Gerd Muller's Bundesliga record of 40 in a single campaign.
- Bayern will also be without Alphonso Davies, who serves the first of a two-game ban for his red card against Stuttgart before the break, and Jerome Boateng, who sits out for one match due to an accumulation of bookings.
- Tanguy Nianzou is back in training after muscle injury, Douglas Costa has a foot injury and is ruled, as is Corentin Tolisso with a muscle injury.
Another disasterclass by Nagelsmann in a big game. You can't win a big game without any strikers. He is a good coach, but not a great one... yet.
@splint3r well bayern have just won a big game without a striker.
@wilde What is Choupo-Moting?
@splint3r technically he's a striker, but you surely understand that he didn't affect the outcome of the match. Bayern could win this with Gnabry as forward. Choupo-Moting didn't matter. A good striker helps, but that doesn't mean you can't win without one.
@wilde In this case, it does. I'm like 90% sure that Leipzig would have at least drawn that game if Poulsen and Sorloth had both started in that 3-5-2 setup. Which would still have kept them in the title race. Anyhow...
@splint3r It's not just about the striker. Leipzig doesn't have nearly as much individual class in their line up as Bayern does.
No Lewa, no problem.
@GioMonaldo and the problem is?
@wilde nonexistent, as I clearly stated lol
@GioMonaldo from what i've seen Bayern has score 1 goal, and was very lucky not to loose this game.
@Tomsy They don't need to score many goals, they have a good defence and that wins titles.
@GioMonaldo Bayern have good defence? Yeah sure :D Anyway, what is the problem with Lewandowski?
@wilde they keep winning literally only because they score so many goals despite conceding so many.
Bayern is lucky they got psg
@NuchalLine PSG then City... worst draw of the tournament
@alx30 Except for Dortmund
0-0 final score
@footballover I've already asked you: why most of your predictions are 0-0?
@wilde It's a condition, don't wonder. He can't help it ... Johann has to post everything 3 or 4 times and footballover has to always tipp 0-0. I think 95% of his predictions are 0-0, it's an addiction.
@neumi17 you're probably right. And don't forget SeuneMilmas who is always shocked.
@wilde and as usual, less possession wins.
And people keep voting Lewandowski for MotM :) Playing Choupo-Moting in the first team is sad, but I sincerely hope he'll prove me wrong.
@wilde Everyone is hoping for ECM, but it's not fair to expect him to perform on this level. If you, as a top team, substitute your #9 with a player worth 3 million, anything bad that happens is not the player's fault
@alx30 yeah i don't blame him for anything
@wilde Very sad. Tried him when Müller was injured and dropped 5 points in 2 games. Lewandowski's position is even more decisive. It's Gnabry or bust
FT - 2: 1
RB Leipzig - Bayern Munich 2:2(0:1)
@BetStatDroid_com You might need to recalibrate your droid douchebag
@BetStatDroid_com 0-0
Leipzig win or draw
How did Lewandowski get an injury against Andorra? lmao And when they were 2-0 up. Hilarious!
@uefalona why? a player can get injured in every match
RB Leipzig 2 : 1 Bayern München ( Bayern Munich )
