- Former German international Karim Bellarabi is close to a return after breaking his hand.
- Wendell and Daley Sinkgraven will likely be available after encounters with COVID-19, and Kerem Demirbay and Edmond Tapsoba are both over the virus.
- The Bender brothers, Sven and Lars, will retire at the end of the season and both have minor injury worries. Lars is the closest to a return to the starting XI.
