Sevilla
Man Utd
- Sevilla overcame Wolves 1-0 on Tuesday night and the Spanish side have no reason to make any changes to their starting XI.
- Ever Banega registered 17 key passes against Manchester United across two legs the last time the two sides met back in the 2017/18 Champions League campaign.
- Tomas Vaclik was back on the bench for Sevilla last time out but Yassine Bounou will start in goal here after saving a penalty against Wolves.
- Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof were surprisingly dropped to the bench for their quarter-final win over FC Copenhagen. The former should return to the starting XI here, while Lindelof could take Eric Bailly's place in the side.
- Marcus Rashford will need assessing after appearing to hurt his groin towards the end of Monday's match. Juan Mata, who made a big impact off the bench, is ready to deputise if required.
I counted 2, he was booked for 1. There was another debatable one but I had Maguire over 1.5 tackles. I've asked to follow up on a review, anyone else tried?
Does anyone dispute Maguire having only 1 tackle during the Seville man u game?!
You have to check Rasford's shots on target, as he took two shots on target instead of one. The first at 6:20 in the penalty play, he shoots and the goalkeeper stops it and then the defender arrives and takes a penalty. And the second in minute 38:16 shooting a direct free kick. you can check it on the UEFA website
@Betinho81 ++ Let them check it again. Because of their result, I lost money.

Does anyone know why Rashford was registered as having 2 shots on target? The challenge that lead to the penalty he clearly has an unblocked shot on goal before the award. Then later in the half has the freekick from 35 yards on target. This lost me a lot of money and I cant see why it wasn't registered? Any help for peace of mind appreciated
@Eagles123 On the official website UEFA.com it also has Manchester United registered as 8 shots on target instead of 7, so something is definitely not right.
@Eagles123 I also had Rashford 2 shots on target as the only failing leg in my multi. He clearly had at least two shots on target, as he got the shot away and the save was made before the challenge was made. Sportsbet are denying this, and are sticking to the info provided online. However, if you click on rashford’s player profile in the EPL Live App, it says ‘3 shots off target, 1 shot on target’, which is followed by a shot map, showing that he clearly had 3 on target, and one off target. In my opinion I think this is just a recording error. This needs to be made right and we need to be payed out, because there is no doubt that he had at least 2 on target. I’ve followed up my ends as far as I can but I will keep enquiring
Wasnt registered as having two shots on goal *
Sevilla conceded a penalty on both Wolves and Manchester matches but still manage to win, What a team!
hahahaha, not even the dodgy penalty could save them!!!
3 changes at 87 minutes???
@MrNemobody Ole at the wheel!!!
United is a top 4 team no matter where it goes, that's about it
man utd are poor in finishing scoring chances
@easygambling So is City, both out
Ole's at the wheel.
@MathCatsFootball the wheel of fortune.
So, let's examine the FA's "master plan" to give the cup to Arsenal, who according to them were the only team that would be available on August 29th. Chelsea were out from the CL on August 8th. They could have had a couple of weeks off, then get back to training in time to face Liverpool on the 29th. Manchester City went out of the CL on August 15th and Manchester United went out of the EL on August 16th. Both of those teams could have had at least a week off, which in these circumstances is a decent amount of time for the players to go on holiday with their families. Then they could have returned to training in time for the Community Shield. The whole point of the matter is, the FA is a corrupt and despicable organisation. FA, you suck!
@splint3r Are you stupid or what? Community shield is played between the league winners and FA cup winners. Arsenal won the FA cup and Liverpool won the league. What the helll are you whining about?
@MathCatsFootball The referee helped Arsenal in both the Manchester City game, and the Chelsea one. If you didn't see it, you're blind. The FA wanted Arsenal to win because of the friggin' schedule. DISGRACE!
@splint3r Are you a flat earther/anti masker/Trump fan by any chance?
@Nico1 bro da faq you bringing trump into this and on the same level as a flat earther and anti masker, if you need an example of how good he is he literally just brokered a peace between Israel and the UAE which is insanely good for the Middle East and could bring about peace in the region. Any other president would’ve won the Nobel peace prize for such an accomplishment and you through him in with flat earthers... you’re almost as deluded as the guy ranting about the FA
@Mamix ... considering Trump used to be an antimasker himself ...
@Nico1 No, yes, no.
And of course, Ole is responsible for not having a quick response to the changes on the pitch.
Just can't understand why Lindelof is always trusted? Since the 1st day of arriving, his sense of defense is the worst among all 1st team defenders. I can understand nowadays passing becomes an essential part of a defender, but it should never beyond the sense and concentration of defense. Chris Smalling and Eric Bailly are much better. Even John Evans couldn't make such a disastrous mistake. When Maguire trying to block the path of passing, Lindelof should definitely mark and pressure on De Jong tightly and compel the striker leaving the danger zone or make it difficult to get the ball.

Man utd players arguing with each other after the game like bruno and lindelof haha
Williams is a good prospect, but not ready to this level yet. Few good tackles, but both goals from his fault (2nd Lindelof even worse and De Gea too). Wonder why Dalot is not used. Also United should do their all to get Dembele from Lyon, he would have scored at least hattrick today from that chances.
@koziol.mutant to be fair, Sevilla's defence is tight af, and they were lucky the keeper didn't save the penalty like he did against raul jimenez
De gea is the most overrated goalkeepar
Pogba deserves a better team. 0 titles for them this season. Finished club.
United doesn't have good players..once a champions league favorite can't even win a europa league
With the chances Utd wasted, they can't complain. I can understand why people worry about Martial.
Ok De Gea is the worst keeper right now, why Ole keep starting with him??? Communication in area was crap and ManU defenders were like dont know what to do. Manchester fans asking for Romero for so long but Ole keep playing this clown
So nice to see this overrated United getting knocked out by Sevilla tonight! Ole is a CLOWN for losing already third semi-final this year. If Sancho has any brain cells, he wont join that finished club.
@stefanm He won't, his contract got extended to '23 and he stays in Dortmund.
@neumi17 Good.
@stefanm clown
Dont be so butthurt I only stated the facts mate~
Penalty FC have lost
@Lechiffre10 excatly!
Dirty Spanish ref didn't give Penandes his deserved penalty even after a convincing dive and cry. Justice for Bruno!
@GioMonaldo Erm... The referee was German?
@splint3r Was a joke. Couldn't have been spanish
Expected outcome, congratulations Sevilla
Bye bye utd lol
Man utd seemingly can't score goals except penalties. Ole really needs to put in work. Sevilla were better today but the match could have been much more entertaining. I really wanted to see this go to the penalties.
@1NSAN3 I'm sorry, but Sevilla weren't better. They won, yes, but not better.
@1NSAN3 better 9-20 shots? lol
@koziol.mutant most of those were during that flurry of chances in the second half for united, other than that, pretty average
Sevilla
86th minute, ManU does its first substitution ;-))
@neumi17 Would you rush to get James in?
@alx30 Ighalo and especially Mata yes, who had already proven himself vs Copenhaga.
Sevilla, the undestuctable gods of UEFA cup. Ay mi Sevilla.
Booom over 2.5 goals wins @ 2.40 odds
@nexus747 how did you know there will be a penalty so early? without it, you would have lost (the result would have been 1-0 or 1-1)! :))))
@Zoltan another good win at decent odds stop complaining
@nexus747 It is not complaining - just pointing out that you got lucky, that's all!
@nexus747 my man
that keeper was amazing
sevilla goalkeeper is amazing
Why do keepers turn into prime Casillas whenever we face them
@Olegend20 Nah bro don't disrespect Bouno, it's not that Unt is special or anything, its just that the keeper is great, he even saved a penalty from the Wolves, and u can check his ratings on his lattest games, he was the keeper with the most on Liga last year just to be picked on loan from sevilla to be a substitute, but he proved himself after the keeper's injury and took his place, he's just so underrated. ^^
@TetouanMorocco the most saves*
Great defense and keeper of Savilla
For flips sake we need to stop conceding goals from random players....at least give us United fans the pride of saying Cristiano Ronaldo scored against us, not fucking Suso
@Olegend20 Suso is a class player my guy, no shame in him scoring
Man Utd playing with 12(referee)....LOL
@tuhin Right because a studs up challenge catching someone on the shin isn't a foul now. Oh so biased.
@Grumpkin69 even fake penalty didnt help them, justice exists.... 2-1 sevilla! Vamos Sevilla!
@Grumpkin69 It was foul but after the boy already shot on goal, since when this is a penalty?
@stefanm since the moment that the attacker was 1st on the ball and then got fouled...it's really not that hard, but i guess it's easier to be a biased ignorant.
@stefanm Yeah that's strange. VAR rescinded the penalty for LFC in the Club World Cup final for that reason. I can't remember one like that either.
@stefanm Since they decided that a penalty is what happens when there's a foul in the box.
@stefanm so it's okay to break a player's leg in the penalty area if they already took the shot. Noice
Shot on target by Rashford not registered yet. Why?
@FV9 @FV9 did you find out his shot just before the penalty was awarded wasn't registered? I'm debating with betfair
Bruno at his best, go ManU!
Haha penalty go brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
@Olegend20 pernandes
@reek cry some more
@Olegend20 am not trolling fernandes am a united fan.
Devil's win or draw and both teams will not score.....put ur money on that
let's go united
Oh and btw this is a fake formation for United by whoscored, it's actually the normal 4-2-3-1 with Williams, Lindelof, Maguire, AWB; Fred, Pogba; Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood; Martial
Very tight game, very hard to predict. A scoring draw won't surprise me. 1-1/2-2
If any paranormal activity happend then united will score 3-4 goals.
Sevellia stopped Roma goalless then why are we expecting goal from united .it's cleansing of united lucky then will get penalty otherwise they will be goalless.
Man united have scored only one goal in away matches in Europa league except Lask
2-1 or 2-0 How man united struggled to score goal against Copenhagen.
@1xbetter what struggle, we dominated on the ball and hit the post four times lmao
United to score in the first 25 min
@alxdru I think in 2nd half by penalty or goalless
Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40 odds (I backed this last night) but the odds are getting hammered.They are now around 2.15 odds.
@nexus747 easy
1X Under 2,5. Under 3,5 definitely
I'll be shocked if Sevilla doesn't win.
@CellarDarko The real shocker is if either side could win in 90 minutes. This is obviously a 1-1 draw, with Sevilla going through to the final on penalties.
@SeuneMilmas Obviously.
@SeuneMilmas Sit down, I was right again.
Draw 1-1
@flephmang 2-2
@flephmang 4-4
@Grumpkin69 8-8?
@pyt55 I certainly hope so.
both teams to score
1-3 MU
over 1.5 goals - Bruno to score
3-0
1-2 this time will be more serious Man Utd
Over 2.5 goals @ 2.40 odds Good odds as Sevilla usually are very defence minded and hit teams on the counter attack.I think both teams despite this will attack as much as possible.
@nexus747 you got lucky with this very bet on the city - lyon game BUT this time you have a very defensive team in Sevilla. They probably have the best defense in the EL and CL, while Manchester United also has a good defense. You bet depends entirely on luck: on how early the deadlock is broken by a penalty or an error, which, let's be serious, is not very frequent if you look at these teams. If the deadlock is broken early, you might get lucky. If it does not, you will lose! Even betting OVER 1.5 goals is very risky in this game! From looking at the odds you can see this clearly: the bookies expect a 0-0 or a 1-0 game as the most likely possibility!
@Zoltan I very rarely back 'goals' bets.Just something i did with a few euro games.I mainly have bets like Bayern who were 2.00 odds.
@nexus747 I think the overs a good bet, pattern recognition in betting is key, it’s been 5 games since Sevilla had over 2.5, Man U and Sevilla both have good attack so that’s my choice.
@nexus747 I am just saying that betting over 2.5 goals against Sevilla is kind of crazy, no matter how often do it. Especially after Sevilla scoring their only goal against Wolverhampton in the 85th minute, and Manchester United scoring their only goal against Kopenhagen in the extra time! That doesn't bode too well with going OVER.... It might happen because in football anything can happen, but it is extremely risky! I normally go OVER when two teams with average defenses and good offenses lock horns with each other, which is NOT the case tomorrow! Sevilla has one of the best (if not the best) defenses in the world today, while Manchester United's defense is respectable as well, especially if De Gea will be in the goal!
@Zoltan give it a rest m8
Ever Banega to score.
La Liga teams are weak and I expect ManU to win here
Man united to thrash Sevilla, Penarndes to score a penalty.
@reek who is that?i missed whoscored comments a few weeks
So tough! Predicting a draw here. Final score maybe 1-1.
"Ever Banega registered 17 key passes against Manchester United across two legs the last time the two sides met back in the 2017/18 Champions League campaign. " Wow sick.
@Pastore10 but it isn't 2017/18 anymore, is it :D
1-2 united
United to win either 2-1,1-0 or 3-2
2-0 , time to destroy poor United .
@stefanm , like Madrid were destroyed by city
@footballover bla bla bla
@stefanm you barely got past Wolves despite taking ten shots more than they did, while United hit the post four times and forced the Copenhagen keeper to make 13 whole ass saves...United were unlucky mate, Sevilla were Sevilla
@Olegend20 Sevilla play especially well against english teams, Wolwerhampton, MU in 2018, EL final against Klopp in 16, and even in 17/18 Liverpool-Sevilla two draw against close to peak Pool, for me they are the favourite, Coppenhagen is much weaker team than parking the bus Wolves. Sevilla defence is better than MU's, midfield draw, attack is better for MU. Close game, one goal Sevilla win.
@Pastore10 disagree about the attack, Sevilla almost entirely rely on Ocampos for goals, while United's attacking trio play much more as a team. With Martial and Rashford's silky partnership and Bruno pulling the strings in attack, we have a hard attack to contain...and while Sevilla's defence had their moments their weakness lies in their center backs. My main concern is how we can contain Banega, the guy's playing like prime Maradona at the moment and his through balls are gonna be an issue. My prediction is a very tight win for United, either 1-0 or 2-1
@Olegend20 imo Kounde is something else, like Upamecano in Leipzig, French is so lucky to have such prodigies in that position and a lot more...
@Olegend20 Kounde and Diego Carlos will be very hot prospects in the transfer window.
@Olegend20 I say too that Mu's attack is better, MU midfield is better on paper only reading their names, but Banega plays reallyreally good, plus Fernando and Jordan are very underrated midfielders imo, they are in very good balance, and Mu seem very exhausted maybe the biggest reason imo Sevilla will win.
