Team News
Newcastle
Tottenham
- Allan Saint-Maximin will be able to play some of Newcastle's game with Tottenham after training all week but Steve Bruce has conceded Callum Wilson is unlikely to be fit enough to return.
- Martin Dubravka is over illness that ruled him out of Slovakia's last two games of the international break and should be fine to start here. Karl Darlow is on standby if required.
- The likes of Emil Krafth, Jamal Lewis and Dwight Gayle are all pushing for a starting spot on Sunday. Isaac Hayden is out for the season through injury.
- Jose Mourinho has confirmed Son Heung-Min is over a hamstring injury and available for selection this weekend but Ben Davies and Matt Doherty are both out.
- Erik Lamela returns for Tottenham after serving his one-game ban against Aston Villa, but the Argentine is unlikely to start at Newcastle.
- Depending on the fitness of Reguilon, Jose Mourinho may be tempted to name the same XI that started the win at Aston Villa, which would see Joe Rodon, Japhet Tanganga and Carlos Vinicius feature.
- Tanganga will need to be assessed after his involvement with England's U21s in midweek.
It's not that Mourinho is a bad manager. He just no longer fits the calibre of EPL.
Tottenham should cease to exist
Too bad there won't be fans at Spurs stadium next weekend, bcs they would probably sing the famous song to Mr Jose... '' you'r getting sacked in the morning, sacked in the moooorniiiing, you'r getting sacked in the mooorning!''
emil krafth has to be the worst prem footballer of all time
Newcastle goalkeepers often seem to play well against Tottenham but I suspect Kane will be really up for this one.
Newcastle 1-2 Tottenham
Newcastle will e relegated, WBA will stay. 0-2
Spurs should win this match if they want to play the CL next year. A win for them.
Newcastle - Tottenham 1:2(0:1)
Tottenham might be without both Davies and Reguilón... so does that mean Aurier on the left and Doherty on the right!?
@MEHJones OK so Doherty is out too. Hopefully, Reguilón can make it to fitness in time.
