Team News

Man City
Leeds
  • Pep Guardiola will ring the changes from the side that worked hard for a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night.
  • Aymeric Laporte, Raheem Sterling, Benjamin Mendy, Fernandinho and Ferran Torres will all hope to benefit from some rotation this weekend.
  • With the second leg against Dortmund to come next week, it wouldn't be a surprise if he rested Kevin De Bruyne against Leeds.
  • Leeds are forced into at least one change with Jack Harrison out against his parent club.
  • Raphinha will likely switch over to the left wing with Helder Costa coming into the side for Harrison.
  • Marcelo Bielsa welcomed back Rodrigo, Liam Cooper and Pablo Hernandez last weekend.
  • Rodrigo is pushing Tyler Roberts for a start in midfield.

Prediction

  • Manchester City are closing in on their third league title in four years but their main focus at the moment is getting past Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals. This game is sandwiched between both legs. Pep Guardiola's side have won 16 of their 17 league matches in 2021.
  • Leeds have won back-to-back matches by a 2-1 scoreline. They haven't won three in a row all season and are unlikely to here even if City name a much-changed XI on Saturday. The reverse fixture ended 1-1 but it would be a surprise if Leeds dented City's title pursuit.

  • Bald and exposed.

  • LOOOL! when the decent but trophy-less bielsa plays with everyone as a GK essentially, 10/11/20 men whatever the case, he's a "genius/hero/bla bla". but when Mourinho does the same, "lets's do nothing but bash him and call him a coward/out of date/dele lazy butt alli is coach's fault/etc."! losers indeed. hope cry babies liverklopp can bounce back! LOOOOOL!

  • @proudmuslim why all real madrid fans r retarded?

  • @JotaroDio what does this has to do with being a Madridista ?

  • @JotaroDio it's a requirement for being a madridista.

  • @proudmuslim the difference is Mourinho does it with top clubs with top players and not with newly promoted Leeds.

  • What a shock Man City against 10 men at home lose 1-2.

  • @nexus747 And thats my Team, need i say more...

  • Man City just getting it out of their system before the second leg vs Dortmund? League is wrapped up anyways but still, credit to Leeds. It’s very good for the league to have them back, incredible performance.

  • @normal_fan99 league is not wrapped up yet, Liverpool are coming better watch out!

  • @GioMonaldo - It's mathematically impossible for Liverpool to win the league. Even if Man U win their remaining 8 matches, Man City only has to collect 10 points from 6 and they still play Villa, Palace, Brighton and Newcastle.

  • @andrew7taylor that's not true hater

  • DALLAS THE COWBOY STEALS A WIN FOR LEEDS

  • Man City to blitz the 10 man Leeds goal in the 2nd half.City to win 3-1.

  • @nexus747 99 times out of a 100 you would be correct

  • This red card is a death sentence to Leeds, we saw how pressing teams like Southampton and Chelsea were absolutely exposed with 10 men. This might be ugly

  • @Chilly_B they subbed off an attacker and replaced with a defender though?

  • @uefalona so did Chelsea but they were exposed, but it turns out I was wrong in my prediction.

  • Sterling 2 shots 5/2 or sterling, jesus and torres all to have a shot 2/1

  • 0-0 final score

  • @footballover dude just stop

  • Very exciting game incoming for those with an attention span longer than a child

  • Won't the city save players for the Champions League game that will take place in the middle of the week? I believe Leeds will score at least one goal in that match. btts

  • I've found no reason for Leeds to score... even though they play attacking football, it will be hard to break city's defense. But my sentiment doesn't mean they won't score... All said... ft 4-0

  • @Jahelite

  • 3 2 city boys !!!

  • 4-0

  • Over 2.5 goals and City win.

  • 3-1

  • Manchester City midfielder Kevin de Bruyne has signed a new contract with the Premier League leaders that runs until 2025.
