Team News
Tottenham
Man Utd
- Full-back pair Ben Davies and Matt Doherty are ruled out, though neither would have started if fit.
- Toby Alderweireld and Serge Aurier both missed their COVID-19 tests following international duty and sat out the 2-2 draw at Newcastle as a result.
- Jose Mourinho is expected to bring Son Heung-Min back into the XI at the expense of Carlos Vinicius, which should see Harry Kane lead the attack in a 4-2-3-1.
- Eric Bailly tested positive for COVID-19 last week and misses out, joining Phil Jones and Anthony Martial on the sidelines.
- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could name the same XI that started the 2-1 win over Brighton last week.
- That would see Dean Henderson continue in goal, with David De Gea now second choice behind the 24-year-old.
Son is a dirty little cheating goblin, hope he gets drafted
@Aereze he was subjected to racist abuse after the match, thoughts?
@Chilly_B racism=bad
@Aereze He is gonna get OSCAR award for his shameful act today
Reguilon is overrrated with 6.1 , as he had part of responsibility in the goals of Cavani & Greenwood. And it's not counting a shot on post from Lo Celso minutes before he was substituted, its not my imagination I watched it.
I'm worried if the police decided to raid Kavanagh's house they'd end up finding a lot of signed Spurs kits. Shame it didn't pay off for them.
Pretty sure mctominay had 2 shots on target... once again yous are wrong
@CDEANZ Whoscored don't collect the stats. it's all done by opta
1-3 love it
Love how people complain about Son diving. It's Mourinho. Nothing new or surprising here.
@alx30 that's clearly foul in football if u dont know that u r just a fan of the team not a fan off football
@alx30 woah woah woah there. This isn’t about Mourinho... every team has players that dive and contribute to ruining this game, this is about the referee and how they are the only one with the power on the pitch to stop or control it. And the athletes, for being legit pathetic. The women’s game has less diving, that’s not even a joke, it does.
@normal_fan99 Mourinho always encourages his players to dive and play dirty. Literally his first observation when he met the Spurs team was that they're too nice.
@alx30 sure, but you can’t actually be suggesting that without Mourinho spurs wouldn’t dive? It’s every team
"Generally... you can tell how injured a player is... by their reaction" - commentator in the 50th minute of this game. Hahahahahaha
penandes dissapearing in big games again lol
@MorrisBuck88 It’s called team work. They team won and took all 3 points against your expectations. Go home and live with it
Disagree with the default, there was a foul from McTominay yes but Song overacted and was not relevant for the play of the goal.
Diving cheaters spurs are
@Jaybird23 Thank you, oh wise Yoda
Everyone going down holding their face... I wish these incredible athletes who posses incredible strength were tougher than my younger cousin. What are we doing...
@normal_fan99 Agree I think Song exagerated the foul, McTominay slightly hit him.
@dib It wasn’t intentional. He was only trying to remove Son hand. Watch it well McTom wasn’t even loooking in that direction. Refs can be pathetic some times
@normal_fan99 Well would have counted otherwise
@alx30 what does that mean? The goal was disallowed precisely for this reason. That is never a foul and it happened 2 other times (Aurier and Rashford) in the first 30, neither were fouls.
@normal_fan99 Well hitting opponents face is usually a foul. He didn't just touch him, there was some force behind it, he might have hit his eye, stayed down and could theoretically have stopped the goal from happening. From the ref's perspective it's probably less controversial not to give it. But not 100 %
@normal_fan99 both are clear foul, in it isn't, lemala vs arsenal would never been a red card
@wdetac The difference is one was intentional and one wasn’t. Ref also check motives too
@wdetac I sometimes wonder how many football fans actually play the sport. You can't run without your arms, an intentional swing into a players face should 100% be punished, but Mctominay was gone. Son was chasing. So pathetic and his "I got shot in the face" routine is added insult. Still, its up to the refs to make these calls. Do you seriously think this should be the standard going forward? If so, lets just eliminate contact altogether and shoot the sport in the head once and for all. I used to love watching this game not just because of the team I love... The "beautiful game" can only be found in the grassroots level
Penandes to score again.
@nexus747 to assist* :P
Come on a draw please.
Given that United played midweek and assuming that Dier and Rodon both play reasonably well... I suspect it'll be similar to last season's match at Tottenham. Tottenham 1-1 Manchester United
The result will definitely be Spurs 0 Man United 637.....I will be shocked if this is not the final score
Over 2.5 goals
Away or draw

can't see anything than a home win
0-0
X2 and btts.
Tottenham - Man United 2:1(1:0)
Manchester United remain unbeaten on the road (W9 D6 L0) whereas Tottenham have lost four times at home (W7 D3 L4).
1-2
Mourinho will smash his former club, 3-1.
@GioMonaldo How did it end pally
@GioMonaldo like they did WB?
@eastend1 Mourinho learns form mistakes.
1-0 Gareth will score the winner
In 1965 Tottenham beat United 5-1 but a few months later in the reverse fixture United won by the same score line. The United team will likely be aware of this history and will desire a similar response this season: i.e. a 6-1 win to make up for their 6-1 drubbing by Tottenham in October.
@MEHJones how did you comment 4 whole weeks ago
@Chilly_B he is refering to 1965 , . and commenting 4 weeks ago. He might be living in Saturn.
@sampo My comment was as valid 4 weeks ago as it would've been yesterday morning. To be honest I've been thinking about it ever since the 6-1 win. I was simply pointing out an unusual event that happened over 50 years ago that some people might not be aware of. It's a good example of why not to get too carried away with "last time these two teams met" bla bla bla
