Team News

Burnley
Leeds
  • Now that safety is achieved, Sean Dyche may be tempted to hand out some opportunities to some fringe players in Burnley's last few games of the season.
  • Kevin Long and Robbie Brady are the only players missing for Burnley when they take on Leeds on Saturday.
  • Ashley Barnes, James Rodriguez and Johann Gudmundsson are pushing for starts this weekend.
  • Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips returned from injury as substitutes in Leeds' 3-1 win over Tottenham last weekend.
  • Robin Koch played well in Phillips' position but is likely to drop back out of the side here, while Raphinha and Rodrigo are also pushing for recalls.
  • Liam Cooper will have to be assessed closer to kick-off but Pascal Struijk may keep his place in defence at Turf Moor.

Prediction

  • Burnley have won two of their last three to pull clear of the bottom three and with Premier League safety achieved they now have no pressure heading into their final three games of the season.
  • Leeds have only lost one of their last eight Premier League matches and beat Burnley 1-0 in the reverse fixture. Marcelo Bielsa's side may, however, have left it too late to push for Europe.
  • Leeds are the only side in the Premier League yet to draw away from home this season which tells you there will be a winner at Turf Moor on Saturday.
  • With Burnley currently on the longest winless streak in the division on home soil (eight games without a win) then Leeds should perhaps be favoured here.

  • Leeds is too unpredictable. Leeds win BTTS

  • Could have the feel of a end of the season game. Burnley now safe and Leeds nothing to play for. could well see Burney open up a bit more having a go which will fall into Leeds hands. Burnley had a go at Elland Road in the 2nd half and looked very good even though they lost but they could well try and open up again but this is a different day. Burnley 1 Leeds 3
