Team News

AC Milan
Man Utd
  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in the squad to face old club Manchester United but won't be risked from the start even with Ante Rebic, Mario Mandzukic and Rafael Leao out injured. Samu Castillejo will reportedly be fielded up front as a result.
  • Davide Calabria has not recovered from injury and isn't in the squad to face United, meaning Diogo Dalot will switch over to right-back to face his parent club. Theo Hernandez is back from injury to start at left-back.
  • Ismael Benancer returned to first-team training on Monday but will start on the bench after a month out injured. Alessio Romagnoli is still unavailable for the hosts.
  • Eric Bailly and Anthony Martial miss out for Manchester United through injury. Juan Mata and Phil Jones are still sidelined. Edinson Cavani has also not made the trip.
  • Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek are all in the squad after returning to training this week.
  • David de Gea is also back in the squad after returning from Spain but Dean Henderson is expected to keep his place in goal.

Prediction

  • It's advantage AC Milan on Thursday after their stoppage time equaliser at Old Trafford last week.
  • All is not lost for Manchester United, However. AC Milan are winless in their last four home games and have actually failed to score in four of their last seven at San Siro.
  • Neither side are playing particularly well at the moment but you can't help but feel United will live to regret that late goal conceded in the first leg.

  • These 2 games were among the most boring I've ever watched in European competitions.

  • I made this account to reply a salty post. just to find out that the post is gone..

  • @gen Not to worry, there's an endless supply of salty posts on this site.

  • The only reason I come here after a United win is to see how salty people are. Never disappoints.

  • @childishjp Really? And what can you say about the quality of the game? The attack? The kind of goal you scored? Nothing. I tell you won thing: MU won something but your sorry, pathetic ass has nothing to do with that. Remember, you as a spectator should only care about the quality of the game you see, not the final result, capisci???

  • @Zoltan You seem upset about something

  • So much salt in the comments it's hilarious

  • After finding somehow a goal, the weakest team of all that qualified for the next round, MU is awaiting for its eliminator in the next round.

  • @Zoltan Man free your mind of hate, even players exchage hand shake and shirts when they loose

  • @COACHIE But spectators who understand football never forget and never forgive the kind of garbage MU puts out every week twice!

  • @Zoltan you are probably the furthest thing from an 'understanding' football fan, you're more of a pretentious poet.

  • @Zoltan Oh the tears of unfathomable sadness, delicious.

  • Let's not forget Kessies goal in the first leg which was disallowed for handball, even though it didn't touch his hand. Milan were robbed.

  • @Nico1 I made this account because you're a goon and your pathetic garbage goes unchecked way too often. It wasn't a handball, you're right. But go watch the live replay of the goal just one more time, and you'll see the most obvious foul throw ever. Literally the assist to the "goal" you're referencing. I remember when I was 10 learning how to take a throw in and my coach said, "good, now we should never get called for a foul throw again." At this level, its unacceptable. I'm not surprised you blame the ref though lol, its all you do when United wins a game. Cry cry cry, you're still wrong

  • @normal_fan99 VAR doesn't check for foul throws mate. The goal was disallowed by VAR because they invented a handball. Not to mention Mctominay should have been sent off. But sure, you comfort yourself with your tainted victory.

  • @Nico1 I regret making this account already. Stupidity is endless with this one. You're still overlooking a very simple fact- it was a foul throw, and therefore the goal is illegitimate. Meaning the correct call was reached. And you have the audacity to use the word tainted? Hahaha, says the guy who just blatantly ignored the fact that the rules of the game were breached and the correct call was made in favour of two arguments: var shouldn't call that and Mctominay should've been red carded. People like you taint the game. Big lol

  • @Nico1 every team gets robbed against Manchester United

  • C'mon Milan prove us that you're really back! 0-0 is a good result tho, keep it!

  • @TetouanMorocco this didn't age well hahaha

  • @TetouanMorocco they're not realy back imo

  • @MorrisBuck88 yes I share the same opinion that's why i wrote that comment, if they qualified here over Utd i would have possibly changed my mind but they didn't, but they r on the way to be back, its a start they need a year or two more like this, they should continue and sign quality players since "probably" they will play UCL next year

  • The world famous Premiership is showing off again with MU's stupid, timid, small team spirited game plan that puts the attackers on ice: Rashford, Fernandes, Greenwood, and James cannot be noticed at all. I swear the God even Sheffield United would put on more of an offensive show that MU! I wonder what Sir Fergusson thinks about this team now..... I bet MU waits for a Maguire header or Fernandes penalty to win this game in the last minute. What the Premiership teams are doing is pathetic and Tottenham's performance did not help in this regard either. Mourinho underestimate Dinamo Zagreb and got burned! Now Solksjaer will be next!

  • @Zoltan I agree. Man U just got thrashed. Oh... er...

  • @Zoltan How market. Who won?

  • @COACHIE I won 300 Euros but not on this stupid game. Anyone who is smart knows that he should never bet nowadays on the sorry Premiership teams!

  • The game will open up 2nd half as Utd need to score.

  • Ibra to come off the bench and score.

  • 1-0

  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.98 odds

  • 3-1

  • Draw For Man Utd

  • 1-3

  • AC MILAN 1-2 MAN UTD (2-2)

  • @Mkpospot I see VAR is going to cancel one goal after half-time?
