- Ange Postecolgou made just one change from the Celtic's 2-0 victory over St Johnstone at Parkhead last weekend, as they ended their Hibs hoodoo with their first victory at Easter Road since 2014 by a 3-1 scoreline.
- The back four were unchanged and both Anthony Ralston and Cameron Carter-Vickers had the Hoops two to the good against Hibs, from David Turnbull deliveries, inside a quarter of an hour in Edinburgh.
- Giorgos Giakoumakis marked his first Celtic start, against St Johnstone, with a goal but the Greek striker was dropped for Mikey Johnston to make his first start of the season. Kyogo Furuhashi moved centrally and bagged Celtic's third on Wednesday.
- David Martindale made two changes to the Livingston team that made it back-to-back away league wins, before their 1-1 draw at home against Dundee United at the Tony Macaroni Arena in midweek.
- Stephane Omeonga missed the United clash with a head knock, meaning Ben Williamson took his place. However, Livi will be hoping the Belgian can return given the 20-year-old was shown a red card against the Terrors and is suspended.
- In attack, Christian Montano was sat amongst the substitutes as Alan Forrest took his place. The brother of Celtic star James joined Odin Bailey and Scott Pittman in support of lone striker Bruce Anderson.
