Team News
Chelsea
Norwich
- Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku are ruled out on Saturday after coming off injured in midweek. Kai Havertz may lead the line as a result.
- Ruben Loftus-Cheek suddenly finds himself back in the reckoning at Chelsea and he has a decent chance of starting again here.
- Thomas Tuchel will have to assess those that started on Wednesday night given the exceptionally short turnaround to this match.
- Thiago Silva may be one of those to drop out but Chelsea are well-stocked at centre-back with Trevoh Chalobah, Malang Sarr, Antonio Rudiger, Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen.
- N'Golo Kante is another Chelsea have to manage carefully as he continues to pick up knocks.
- Billy Gilmour cannot face his parent club but has recently lost his place in the side anyway.
- Dimitris Giannoulis has also won his place back at left-back ahead of Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams.
- Joshua Sargent is currently getting the nod to partner Teemu Pukki up front for the Premier League strugglers.
How was Ziyech?
@QaosMehdi OK, good through ball to Loftus Cheek the end to set up Mount
How Havertz has a 7.4 rating, the same as Hudson Odoi and higher than Chalobah, is beyond me. He was awful today
Mason Mount was poor today, only one open play assist
We might drop points against Liverpool and Man City but at least we don't falter with the teams we are expected to beat. Whether a thumping like today or a nail biting affair like against Brentford, we always retire with 3 points. Plus ,this makes it 6 clean sheets in 9 games. Two of the three goals conceded were penalties and the one from open play was by Jesus. Cmon, u can forgive the lads that one, it was Jesus for God's sake
7 star show by Chelsea. Champs of Europe for a reason
Champions League winners vs Championship winners, and it showed
I think this is Mason Mount's 1st 10/10 perfect score. Congrats!!
Mason Mount hat-trick.
Ah, so unexpected. Chelsea plays so fluid and well when Lukaku is not around.
I did not anticipate Norwich being this bad or Chelsea being this good
Chelsea 2-0 win. Mount and Havertz to score, with James getting an assist
Chelsea win 3:0/2:0. Kai Harvetz goal is assured. Hudson Odoi to grab one as well
6-0
3-0
Chelsea isn't your rampant side and with this Norwich side focusing on defense of recent, plus loss of Lukaku and Werner to injury against Malmo, I expect Chelsea to win but in usual Chelsea fashion . 2:0(1:0)
@Azylyan wots a werner?
