Brentford
- Ben Mee returned to first-team action in midweek after a bout of COVID-19. He will push to reclaim his spot back from Nathan Collins.
- Connor Roberts finally made his Burnley debut on Wednesday but will drop to the bench against Brentford on Saturday.
- Josh Brownhill was surprisingly put up front against Southampton. The likes of Ashley Barnes, Matej Vydra and Jay Rodriguez will hope that changes here.
- David Raya is out for up to five months in a major blow for Brentford. Alvaro Fernandez will deputise.
- However, there is a good chance Brentford will have both Ethan Pinnock and Bryan Mbeumo available to face Burnley. Kristoffer Ajer and Marcus Forss are on standby, respectively.
I can't back a Brentford shutout here even against Burnley who can't seem to find the net. I can't speak on the new Keeper but Burnley have to be desperate for 3 points here. They need to keep Cornet on the pitch as he adds life to the Burnley attack. The Relegation battle is going to be interesting this year as the bottom of the table after Norwich has some teams who've been in the top flight for a number of years. Backs against the wall early in the season I expect a fighting effort from the Clarets and with a side coming in that could be demoralized from the loss of their #1 keeper, I can confidently risk on Burnley to win this one.
