- Ralf Rangnick will take charge of his first game as Manchester United interim manager this weekend after being granted a work permit in midweek.
- It wouldn't be a surprise to see Rangnick make some changes given he will have more chance to work with those that weren't involved heavily on Thursday night.
- Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't see out the game but it seemed more of a precaution than a significant injury. In any case it wouldn't be a surprise if he is not fit to start here.
- That could spell good news for the likes of Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek.
- Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw and Nemanja Matic all missed out against Arsenal through injury and remain doubts here.
- Patrick Vieira hopes to have Joachim Andersen back from injury for Sunday's trip to Old Trafford.
- Joel Ward is suspended this weekend after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the defeat to Leeds in midweek.
- James Tomkins may actually move out to right-back to cover for Ward if Andersen is fit enough to start at centre-back.
- Jordan Ayew lacked end product against Leeds but certainly looked bright. He will hope to keep his place in the side.
- Christian Benteke will likely rotate back into the starting XI, most likely at the expense of Odsonne Edouard.
- Luka Milivojevic will push to reclaim his starting spot back in midfield after dropping to the bench for Jeffrey Schlupp in midweek.
THE BEST TEAM LOST
Who was man of the match ?
@Rensen Dalot for me
@Rensen Fred. Even without the goal I would say him.
@MrNemobody lol bbc website made a huge mistake as Donny only played the last 4 minutes !
@MrNemobody The BBC says Donny van de Beek.
A clean sheet and Fred the match winner? Times must be changing!
Ronaldo is actually working harder than Rashford. Scott has less passes than Ronaldo today, SHOCKING. Scott and Rashford needs to stay out.
A very balanced performance. United dropped in intensity early into the first half because they aren't used to exerting so much energy in a pressing system. Palace were very stubborn for a long period and fought well. Sure it's not a demolition scoreline but it looks like something to build on.
@childishjp early into the second half I meant, not first.
Draw
@footballover Imagine predicting a draw at 76th min.
@Byakuya And getting punishment 1 minute later ... ;-)
@Byakuya He does this all the time, he predicts the results like 10 minutes into the matches lmfao
@KingKeno And yet he fails miserably most of the times. Once he predicted a draw at the 74th minute and the game ended 0-3
@KingKeno And mostly fails, I'm not against it but what was the odds for draw at that minute anyway?
Get Rashford out already
Kinda weird that Ragnick didn't change anything from Arsenal/Villarreal game lineup and formation, but yeah if it ain't broke, don't fix it
@Youzarix He changed formation, but yeah if he had changed the team he'd be blamed straight away when things go south
@Youzarix ye
@Youzarix It's actually 4-2-2-2
The guy got himself a pretty good deal, guaranteed consultancy role in the club if he doesn't continue as a manager. Ferguson did the same before retiring, that's why he's always around the club for those muppets who think he's still managing. He's earning more than he did in managerial career, Rangnick will be useful for the club as well. He's saying that he will try his best to continue more as a manager though, no expectations but liked that he's greedy for success. One or maximum two transfer during his planned regime and media is linking United with pretty much everyone already including that trash called Werner, sick of British journalism. Palace is not an easy team and will be a good start to watch, 3-1.
Bruno Brace, Martial Birthday Brace, Hat-Trick for The GOAT.
In Crystal Palace's last two performances they have not been push-overs, that's for sure.
Van De Beek !
Ronaldo has a knee injury and will have a late fitness test.
@Rensen fake news mate
@Nashonba Manchester evening news said so.
3-1
7-0 Crystal Palace
@Alpha00 How did it go with 7-0 Chelsea yesterday again?
3-0
MU 4-1
Zaha score in 30min and 22,3 sec.
