Team News

Man City
  • Joao Cancelo is suspended for the home side, so Kyle Walker is expected to return to the XI for the hosts.
  • Ilkay Gundogan sustained a back injury in Saturday's 1-0 win over Wolves, which should see Kevin De Bruyne start, while Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez could both be rotated into the XI.
  • Ferran Torres and Liam Delap miss out here.
  • Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa has six confirmed absentees for the trip to Manchester City with key midfielder Kalvin Phillips and star striker Patrick Bamford among them.
  • Joe Gelhardt netted off the bench at Chelsea and could be rewarded with a start here in the absence of Rodrigo and Bamford.

  • A second half Raheem Sterling penalty was enough for Manchester City to extend their Premier League winning run to six matches. The league leaders did lose this fixture last season, however.
  • Leeds have won just one of their last six league outings, and have one of the worst away records in the division this season. With the raft of injuries to key men, it'll take a huge effort from Marcelo Bielsa's men to come away with a result on Tuesday.
  • Given City's superb form of late, the title contenders should feel confident of earning a seventh successive league win in midweek.
