Team News
Crystal Palace
Norwich
- Wilfried Zaha is suspended after his red card against Tottenham on Boxing Day.
- Nathan Ferguson made his Crystal Palace debut 18 months after joining in the 3-0 loss.
- Joachim Andersen had a nightmare against Tottenham and may drop out here.
- Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic, Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze missed out completely on Sunday after a COVID outbreak at Palace. Manager Patrick Vieira is also unavailable.
- Jack Butland appears to have leapfrogged Vicente Guaita in the pecking order in goal for the time being.
- Dean Smith has already suggested Ozan Kabak won't start both games over the Christmas period so he may drop out from the side that lost 5-0 to Arsenal on Boxing Day. The only problem is Norwich are short of alternatives at the moment.
- Angus Gunn is expected to continue in goal after Tim Krul tested positive for COVID over Christmas but Christos Tzolis, Pierre Lees-Melou and Joshua Sargent all returned on Boxing Day. Lukas Rupp remains a doubt.
- Dimitris Giannoulis should rotate into the side at the expense of Manchester United loanee Brandon Williams. The likes of Sam Bryam and Todd Cantwell are also pushing for starts.
Palace win easily
All todays EPL games will be live on amazon prime.
Conor Gallagher will also be a huge loss.
Crystal Palace have only won three of their last 24 Premier League matches without Wilfried Zaha (D3 L18).
Id like to see Schlupp in the XI if he's available, Norwich certainly have an opportunity to get a win here but they will have the be at their best. Palace have been solid at Selhurst but the unavailable players are starting to pile up. Zaha looked to be in a good run of form before he was given the red card and suspended he will be missed here. No Viera on the sidelines is also troubling. Palace will have to get creative here they can't just rely on Connor Gallagher. I expect Ayew, Edouard and Schlupp up front. Goal for Edouard. 1-1, 2-1.
