- Brendan Rodgers will welcome back Daniel Amartey earlier than expected after Ghana's premature elimination at AFCON and he could start here.
- James Justin made his first Premier League appearance in nearly 12 months as a substitute in Leicester's dramatic 3-2 defeat to Tottenham on Wednesday.
- Luke Thomas took a couple of knocks before being replaced by Justin so there is a chance the 23-year-old could start here
- Boubakary Soumare was fit to feature from the bench against Tottenham but Brendan Rodgers looks set to be without 10 players again this weekend.
- Harvey Barnes is an option to start this one though there isn't an obvious position for him if Rodgers' persists with a 3-5-2 formation.
- Shane Duffy and Adam Lallana have been ruled out of Sunday's game, while Lewis Dunk will only make the bench at best.
- Neal Maupay and Leandro Trossard will push for recalls after being benched in Brighton's 1-1 draw with Chelsea in midweek.
- Graham Potter, who has tested positive for COVID, is managing Tariq Lamptey's minutes carefully and he may drop to the bench here.
