Team News

Man Utd
  • Daniel James faces Manchester United for the first time since swapping Old Trafford for Elland Road in the summer.
  • Junior Firpo is expected back from injury against United and could be required right away after Stuart Dallas went off injured last weekend.
  • Mateusz Klich was fit to start in the 3-0 defeat to Everton last time out but Charlie Cresswell didn't even make the bench.
  • Adam Forshaw could return in midfield after Klich struggled in midfield against Everton.
  • 18-year-old Leo Fuhr Hjelde could be a surprise starter in defence for Leeds on Sunday after a couple of lengthy substitute appearances in recent weeks.
  • Key trio Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips are all still unavailable.
  • Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League a few days after their trip to Leeds on Sunday so that may play a part in Ralf Rangnick's thinking here.
  • Rangnick may ideally have wanted to rest Cristiano Ronaldo with that in mind but now Edinson Cavani has been ruled out he may have no choice.
  • Raphael Varane is back available after recovering from illness but he may only return to the starting XI against Atletico. Victor Lindelof should continue here.
  • Fred returned from COVID in Manchester United's win over Brighton on Tuesday but was poor and should drop back out the side here.
  • Alex Telles, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford are all pushing for recalls on Sunday.
  • Eric Bailly and Nemanja Matic are back in training and could return to the matchday squad at Elland Road.

  • Leeds are a hard bunch to read at the moment. They were excellent against Aston Villa in a 3-3 draw but then slumped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Everton last weekend.
  • Manchester United are equally hard to read. Once again they played poorly in one half and decent in the other, this time against Brighton on Tuesday but they did win 2-0.
  • Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had his critics as United manager but he knew how to pummel Leeds. Can Ralf Rangnick inspire another big win over them or will it be more of the same from recent weeks?

  • Hi @whoscored, please I'm curious on how Elanga isn't amongst the players with a shot-on-target, how's that possible when he clearly scored the last goal of the encounter? I'm confused, can I get a vivid explanation how that's even possible?

  • @Aei what are you on about? He’s got 2 shots on target

  • Haalands father was talking to Pep this week and the man city staff.Apparently his son prefers City now rather than Barca or Real.Pep saved the torres transfer money to fund a Haaland move.

  • @Rensen good news bro! thnx a lot

  • Man United need Harry Kane as it looks like Haaland is going to Man City.

  • @Rensen how do you mean it looks like Haaland is going to City, and why would Haaland even consider going to United in the first place?

  • @Socio4Life why wouldn't he consider it?

  • I wonder when Leeds will accept the reality that they might need to keep it a bit tighter against better teams...or will they just go down refusing to change?

  • @jonejo34 Media saying Bielsa will resign in the next few weeks due to lack pf promised transfers.

  • I'm not sure if links are allowed here so I will just say that write Ronaldo vs. Leeds and you will find it, the game from 2003. All United players need to watch that video considering how weak they were at second goal, suggesting it for those who doesn't watch the game and commenting here as well. Great goal by Rodrigo and unacceptable mistake right after shouldn't overshadow 90 minutes, United finally converted their chances and played well.

  • Why has the second shot by pogba which bobbled on target been wiped off?. That's ridiculous to be honest. Is there a speed a shot has to before it counts on target

  • Circus FC remains the funniest joke in the EPL

  • @Chilly_B You can't say that about Leeds, pretty uncalled for, they gave it a go.

  • @childishjp lol

  • Man Utd should have kept Ole until the summer.Rangnick is clueless.

  • @Rensen lol..

  • @Rensen What ? Rangnick is ten times better than Solskjaer in any aspect. How can anyone seriously ask for the Norwegian again, who was just terrible.

  • 1-2 Bruno to score.

  • @Geolardo And he did. Love the dude so much

  • 1-1

  • 2:2 draawww

  • 2-3 or 2-4

  • @koziol.mutant I'll be watching out your space man..wish I saw this earlier

  • Leeds 0:3 man united
