Team News

Man Utd
Norwich
  • Fred was forced off in the first half of Manchester United's 1-0 loss at Everton last weekend and joins Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane, Edinson Cavani and Luke Shaw on the sidelines.
  • Paul Pogba should therefore partner Nemanja Matic in the midfield, while Anthony Elanga could start at Marcus Rashford's expense.
  • Cristiano Ronaldo has landed himself in hot water this week for his reaction to the defeat at Goodison Park, but should lead the charge here.
  • Dean Smith could go with an unchanged XI for the trip to Old Trafford, which would see Max Aarons feature from the bench and Dimitris Giannoulis keep his spot at left-back as Brandon Williams is unable to face his parent club.
  • Billy Gilmour, Josh Sargent and Przemyslaw Placheta are all doubts for the visitors.

Prediction

  • Manchester United have lost ground in the race to secure a Champions League finish after a run of just one win in five. That said, United have won their last five meetings with Norwich.
  • The Canaries ended an eight-match winless run with a 2-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Burnley on Sunday to give themselves a slight chance of beating the drop. They have won only twice on the road this season, however.
  • For all of United's shortcomings at present, they should secure all the spoils against the Premier League's basement boys.

  • at least against Norwich he can))

  • @dzvinka It hurts, doesnt it?

  • Ronaldo hat trick.

  • Ten Hag told united advisors in his job interview that United would need to get rid of 6-7 players if he took the job.

  • @Rensen Pep did the same thing when he came to city man. Check the records

  • @Rensen You gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers. Matic already said that he will leave, one of those players. I lost it when Rangnick subbed him over Lingard, trying to defend 2-2 against the worst team in the league. Norwich were the better side after 2-0 and they would won if it wasn't for Ronaldo, United lucky with 3 points today.

  • @Byakuya How can you remove Ronaldo free kicks? Check the stats again.

  • @Rensen No source.

  • @childishjp Also bbc sport and van persie.

  • @childishjp A few english newspapers reported it including the sun.

  • @Rensen If your source is The Sun, you're in trouble.

  • @childishjp lol

  • @Rensen The Sun and newspaper in the same sentence, wow.

  • @Guilain The original source is Van der Vaart, he said that players made United managers leave with playing bad until so far but they won't be able to do the same to Ten Hag and will be thrown out. "Newspapers" took this information and made up numbers, but still partially true.

  • Oh come on

  • United are a joke.No chance of CL qualification.

  • Ronaldo doing what the other GUY cant do, scoring goals.

  • @Belinho messi has the 3rd highest rating and all that without goals. so we see how good he still is

  • @Belinho when it comes to stapadding against bottom table teams, Pendu is the best at it. When Liverpool comes around uh oh looks like Tapindo ran out of steam, quick tell em I got injured, just for one match tho lol

  • @GioMonaldo it has been 4 years Messi scored or assisted against Real Madrid..talking about stat padding. haha

  • @Belinho yup, he scored in TWO of his last 15 matches, not including this one.

  • @wilde lol and your guy scored 3 in his last 30 in the farmers league. Go back and cry with your mama

  • @ken.ho.106 I understand that you are offended by facts, but facts don't care about your feelings. I've just stated the truth without offending anyone. Sorry, I didn't know that'll make you cry. And I don't know what you mean about "my guy". I don't have any "my guy", sorry.

  • @wilde looks like you are the one who cries here.

  • @john9999 you have a really strange definition of crying

  • Ronaldo

  • 4-0

  • Under 3.5 goals @1.66
