Team News
Leeds
Man City
- Jamie Shackleton has a chance of making the squad, but Adam Forshaw, Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts are absent.
- Jesse Marsch could go with the same XI that started the 0-0 draw at Crystal Palace on Monday night.
- John Stones and Kyle Walker have been ruled out against Leeds and are doubts to face Real Madrid next week. Joao Cancelo, who missed the 4-3 Champions League win through suspension, will deputise at right-back.
- Pep Guardiola could make a couple of changes in personnel from the side that started in midweek, with Jack Grealish and Ilkay Gundogan coming into the XI.
Everybody gets goals and assists, but GOATlish gets cards. What a flop.
why leeds why you clowns.
City deserve to lose for that kit.
@jonejo34 what kit?
Mancity to win and over 2.5
Jesus to score anytime.
Under 2.5
Huge dilemma for Man City.Do they play a strong side tonight as Liverpool won earlier or do they rest players for Wednesdays game in Madrid ?
@Rensen oh, a very tough question, for a 1 billion $ squad, right?!)))
@Rensen A strong enough City side to win this fairly easily.
@Rensen Their entire Squad are pretty much A Caliber players anyway tbh
1-4
Expect a surprise here.
@GioMonaldo under 8 goals for city?
@eastend1 you read my mind bro lol
leeds is trash
Over 2.5 goals @1.50
Leeds will attack under Jesse Marsch instead of parking the bus which will suit Man City.City to win 3-1 or 4-1.
I think this match may be closer than many think. Likely to be a nervy match. <2.5 goals and 0-1 City
@Overmars yeah
Leeds wasn't bad lately, maybe they can ramp up their efforts for this match.
Obviously city winning is far and away the most likely result on paper, but I have a sneaking feeling Leeds might get something out of this game. They’ve been really good under Marsch so far and no longer are in the injury hell that they had been in. So rationally I’d say 0-3, but I could see a 1-1 or 2-2 happening. Either way it’s reductive to assume either City or Liverpool or both will win out this season.
@sarigginsUSA Don’t expect anything from Leeds in this game. They look solid under Marsch and they are unbeaten in their last five but they haven’t faced a top seven team during that run. They were lucky to escape at Crystal Palace. Liverpool play earlier in the day so City are going for the jugular.
