Team News

Man Utd
  • Tariq Lamptey was only fit enough to come off the bench against Wolves last weekend but should start this one.
  • After a thoroughly impressive 3-0 win away to Wolves last time out, Graham Potter will want to resist the changes here.
  • Enock Mwepu won't be fit in time to face Manchester United after coming off in the victory through injury..
  • Former Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck followed up a goal against Southampton with an assist against Wolves and will be desperate to start this one.
  • Moises Caicedo, who was linked to United before joining Brighton, is getting a run in the side at the moment and looks set to continue in midfield here.
  • Previously ruled out for the season, Jadon Sancho and Harry Maguire could return to the matchday squad to face Brighton on Saturday.
  • Juan Mata reminded everyone of his ability on his first Premier League start of the season last time out against Brentford and should really keep his place in the side here.
  • Edinson Cavani came off the bench against Brentford to make his first appearance in almost two months, while Fred was also back after injury.
  • Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed out once again for Ralf Rangnick's side and remains a doubt to face Brighton.

  • Brighton have only lost one of their last six and last weekend wrapped up their biggest away win of the season with a 3-0 victory at Wolves.
  • Surprisingly, Brighton are winless across their last eight home matches in the Premier League since defeating Brentford on Boxing Day.
  • Manchester United ran out comfortable 3-0 winners at home to Brentford on Monday night in arguably their best display under Ralf Rangnick.
  • It's little too late, however, as United are out of the running to finish fourth. They tend to struggle away to Brighton, though have won their last three there scoring three goals in each.

  • Keep De Gea, Fernandes, Pogba and Ronaldo, and just replace the rest. This squad is unworthy of United.

  • @Yassine_1 Pogba is leaving, bro.

  • Mata and Matic still at United? Wtf.

  • Mourinho was the best thing that happened to this team. At least he won the Europa League, got some good signings and finished second. Too bad they sacked him and hired a bunch of idiots since then.

  • What is rangnicks excuse for this shocker ?

  • Man Utd fans can't blame Maguire today, so who's gonna be the escape goat this time?

  • @MrNemobody Scapegoat? You can't choose one while your GK made almost no save, your midfielders letting every ball go (Mata and McTominay especially) and your striker has 0 zero shot on target out of 5. Sanchez at 8.2 is overrated, no attack seemed dangerous at all. Welbeck just himself missed 2 clear chances, this game should've been at least 7-0.

  • @Byakuya Oh yeah and completely unrelated but I wanted to ask is your username in reference to Danganronpa?

  • @sarigginsUSA You got the wrong guy lol, the one from Bleach. About Sanchez, Cavani's header was straight towards to him even though it was quick and playing the ball to your winger is just a usual way to start the game unless you're playing against United. I think it should've been around 7, this rating seems more like United forwards were posing a threat but couldn't convert.

  • @Byakuya Fair point

  • @Byakuya Sanchez made a really good save from the Cavani header, started the attack for the 3rd goal was it? And caught almost everything, so 8.2 isn’t too far off. Although everything else is spot on

  • LMAO!

  • Man U fans are only angry because Ronaldo has not scored, not because their club is losing. That's pathetic truth about Ronaldo fans.

  • @Milosval Starting the comment with Man U fans and end up with Ronaldo fans, make up your mind. Ronaldo missed many chances, that's only your opinion to get likes from United and Ronaldo haters.

  • I was told that Ronaldo will never let his team get humiliated

  • @KlaasJanHuntelaar Wow... and? I was told Russia will not attack Ukraine. Shocker!

  • It is hard to sign good players if you do not have Champions League football.

  • @Rensen You don't need to make the same comment every game, we can read. Klopp finished 8th in his first season, you don't need to participate in a competition which you have no chance to win to build a proper team.

  • Say bye to Ronaldo

  • Losing 4-0 against Brighton, who will save the day? Lord Maguire, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

  • LMAO Man U wtf

  • I feel sorry for the United fans who have made the long journey to brighton.Shocking display from the united players. They seem not to care.

  • Rangnick has destroyed United.Would have been better to have kept Ole.

  • @Rensen without ronaldo everything will go upwarts, believe me

  • @Rensen nobody would have saved united this season. Coaches are only a part of the problem and neither of them is/was THAT bad.

  • @Rensen Would have been the same. The problems lie somewhere else ...

  • @Rensen Kindly remainder that Ole's last game was 4-1 against Watford, no change. He didn't improve the team definitely, but wouldn't be better with Ole as well.

  • Commentator on Caicedo: It was his dream to play for United one day and now scoring against the team he supports. | I wonder when he said that because it's clearly no one's dream to play for this team nowadays.

  • Brighton owners are saying they want 10 million compensation for Potter if any clubs want him.He is very highly rated in the game.

  • The Goat To Score

  • @KingKeno The goat currently with a 5.4 rating ( 70th minute ) ...

  • @KingKeno Brighton is doing well lately but he's only 2 goals away from 20 PL goals meanwhile United is still missing 1 point to secure EL so I agree with this.

  • Over 2.5 goals.

  • 2-0 UTD to win and Bruno to score

  • @MickeyClark very close.

  • Double chance: X2 @1.40

  • it didn't come through this time....Man UTD doesn't have a good coach
