@tar88s No, it wasn't, it was an unfortunate collision with no intend.
But even though he touched the ball first the card is justified by the new rules.
@Socio4Life On TV they just explained the rules. Even if you play the ball first the referee can give you a red card when he thinks the player didn't care enough about what happens right after.
The Swedish player didn't hurt him on purpose but also wasn't considered enough about his opponent's health.
@neumi17 No, it was renewed in 2020 so it's not old. But that Ukrainian knee to Bergs face was equally as much a red card, and potentially much much more dangerous because you have very sensitive bones in your skull and it could end in serious head trauma leading to death. Can't see you complain about that so I guess you aren't really able to watch this objectively.
@Socio4Life
Same. 0 Intention to hurt the opponent, and not even tackling towards him, he kicks the ball upwards. It's an unfortunate injury, yellow card for sure, but not a red.
@LeChiffre
It wasn't a tackle. He was kicking the ball upwards, and they fly into each other at the end. If he was tackling, and hit the opponent like that, I would agree that it's a red. But he wasn't tackling the opponent. It's a horrible injury and an unfortunate collision, but it should not be a red.
@AnselmSelze Besedin was nowhere near to be able to get to that ball, and still ran in to the situation. A yellow because of the angle of Danielson's foot probably but a red is a bit harsh.
@AnselmSelze
I don't think he should give a red for it. He did kick the ball upwards, and eventually collided with the Ukrainian player. No intention to harm him what so ever. Yes the end result looked horrible, but the guy literally kicked the ball upwards, not even tackling into the direction of the opponent. Unfortunately, Italian refereeing has been declining drastically over the past years, Orsato is no exception.
@DanInter@DanInter Ok, I agree it was unfortunate, Danielson surely didn't intend to harm Besedin. But it was also reckless, he could and should be more careful with this intervention.
@Badaboom lol mate.Who the hell give's a fuck what you like?
And why are you so keen to reply to me and tell me what you like?you dont have a friend,a wife,a dog to who to talk about?
If Suedia have played the same manner as they played against Polonia the outcome of the match will had been different!
But there are a bunch of guys(Mafia)who do not let the footballers expres themselves in all matches!There are all sort of combination at a high level!You still think football is not an infected sport by paraziti?
Ma frend...take the carrot and move on!thanks.
Sweden got this one. Ukraine rely heavily on a few players which make them so expectable. As long as Sweden keep their eyes on Yarmolenko, they will be just fine. 2-0 Sweden win I'd say.
Congrats to Ukraine
Congratulations to Ukraine for the fight
СЛАВА УКРАЇНІ!!!
@tar88s Довбик красава)
@tar88s Героям Слава!
@tar88s Героям слава!
congrats Ukraine! very unexpected but deserved
Bravo Ukraine!!!!!
GG Ukraine, beautiful last last minute goal! Cheers from Hungary!
@Finucci respect to your team from Ukraine!
@Badaboom Thank You! :) I hope Ukraine will win against England.
Not sure I can agree with that red card.
@Socio4Life So Danielson had to kill his opponent to get a red card? As I understand the injured leg is not enough?
@Socio4Life Comeon, that was brutal foul that can end someone`s career. What can be worse than that?

@neumi17 And I know the rules. I have a referee license
@Socio4Life Then you must a bad referee, my condolences to the teams that play/will play in your matches.
@Socio4Life An old license then... A referee on TV just explained the new rules.

@neumi17 Like blaming a driver of a car that hits someone because that someone getting hit ran out in the middle of traffic. Read my post below.
@Socio4Life Same. 0 Intention to hurt the opponent, and not even tackling towards him, he kicks the ball upwards. It's an unfortunate injury, yellow card for sure, but not a red.
@DanInter definitely a red - reckless tackle regardless of intent. Learn the rules.

@DanInter Jesus... guys, you're all need to learn the rules. It was a straight leg in the air and nobody cares if he touched a ball before.
Wow, didn't expected such stupidity from a Swedish player.

The shots are wrong, bbc sport is correct. Your showing only 11 shots but there have been 14. B365 settle bets from your this website
@Harryg420 BBC Sport, like WhoScored, receive the data from Opta and both are showing Sweden having 12 shots to Ukraine's 9 at full time
Sweden will win with penalties.
isak is star
Cash the Over 1.5
Sweden next round
2-1
Ukraine OVER 1,5 1-2
Kulusevski MOTM
Sweden will reach next round!
Austria and the Netherlands were in the group together with Ukraine left the tournament. Maybe after all 1 team from this group will go further
Sweden win
Over 1.5
For some reason I think Ukraine will go through.
This will be a draw 1-1 or 2-2 but not more than 3,5 +
Ukraine with +1
I am now like Pele, when I choose a national team to win, they lose. So better not to say anything.
Suedia will thrash this bunch of arrogant poor overrated Ucraina!2-0 or 4-2.
@MasterBet lol. Like to see stupid comments like this after the end of the match
