Team News
Metz
PSG
- Farid Boulaya and Opa Nguette are still lacking match fitness and won't feature here.
- Thomas Delaine is likely to come in at left wing-back after not featuring in the derby last Friday.
- Given Metz have had four days off, don't expect much more in the way of rotation from the hosts.
- Lionel Messi has been ruled out here after picking up an injury against Lyon Sunday -- Neymar could play a central role in his absence.
- Marco Verratti is back in training, but this match may come too soon for the Italian midfielder with the Champions League around the corner.
- There are also doubts around Gianluigi Donnarumma, the goalkeeper having suffered a couple knocks on Sunday.
Lucky PSG get a win .
Whose worse psg or barca ? Lol
@Rensen Troll
@Rensen both are sh*t
@Rensen united
This team plays better without Messi. All games where he didn't play, PSG scored 4 goals (apart from first game of season). But in all games he did play, they only scored 1 (including last game, when it was 1-1 until they subbed him off). He is a deadweight in this team and is doing absolutely nothing to help them. Compare that to Ronaldo, who is a real game changer for Manchester United.
@uefalona you are absolutly right .. but not cause of messi being poor cause he's not sync with the team and the way they play . he's whole life was in barca playing with certain style .. now he need to adapte
@uefalona same energy end of the season haha messi 7ballan dor pending ...since poch took over PSG has struggled in every aspect
@uefalona relax, he's played 2 and a bit games. He's been a couple of inches away from scoring two great goals despite seemingly not being fully fit. It wouldn't be a surprise if he does take a little longer to settle than CR7, as he fills a very different niche (passer/creator/dribbler/goalscorer) than Ronaldo (out-and-out goalscorer). Messi is all about building chemistry and understanding with his teammates, which doesn't develop overnight, so to an extent I agree with you that he doesn't necessarily make them better...yet. Will be interesting to see what happens.
@jonejo34 don't feed the troll
Kylian Mbapsz to score
Poch has dropped Messi despite them saying he is injured.Poch and Messi had a huge bust up after he was subbed and refused to shake hands.
@Rensen stop doing drugs
@Rensen I doubt it, L'Equipe had already confirmed that Messi spent yesterday's training session in the treatment room. He was holding/rotating his knee just prior to being subbed, but felt he could carry on hence his reaction. The suggestion is, I think, that he already had the knock going into the Lyon game.
