Team News

  • Daniele Rugani will start in defence due to the absences of Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini, but Federico Chiesa and Paulo Dybala will be involved on Thursday night.
  • Alvaro Morata continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona.
  • Napoli have 10 unavailable players due to COVID, AFCON and suspensions and will probably call up players from the U19 squad for this game.
  • Axel Tuanzebe is joining from Manchester United but won't be available until after this match.
  • Lorenzo Insigne is closing in on a lucrative move to MLS side FC Toronto at the end of the season.

  • A 2-0 win against Cagliari a fortnight ago saw Juventus move up to fifth in the table. Despite winning four of their last five they still haven't been very convincing.
  • Napoli suffered another unlucky home defeat - this time against Spezia before the break - and will try to bounce back despite being without several key players and Luciano Spalletti for their trip to Turin.
  • Neither of these teams can afford to lose and this could lead to a very cagey game, although Juve are slight favourites to win.

  • Both to score.

  • Draw. 1-1.

  • Rugani and clean sheet? impossible:) 2-1

  • Wouldn't be surprised to see this one called off. I favor Juve here given the absences for Napoli, I don't like that back line without Koulibaly, Malcuit was getting plays as a wing back and will be missed here. Juventus have played to win games 1-0 and 2-0 never really pressing for more, the starting lineups will be key, Zamboanga Anguissa is also a big miss. Would take Juventus against the spread as long as it's -.5, -.75

  • @FootyFiyah Italian chaos at its best. Not sure either if this match will be judged as postponed or abandoned. Abandoned means 0-3 loss and minus one point for the team that couldn't appear due to travel restrictions.
