Team News
Arsenal
AFC Wimbledon
- Kieran Tierney suffered from cramps again at the weekend and is unlikely to be risked here, with Nuno Tavares set to deputise.
- Mohamed Elneny is expected back in full training at some point this week and he could make the matchday squad here. Granit Xhaka, however, completes a three-match ban here.
- Bernd Leno will to start in the cup on Wednesday after losing his place in goal to summer signing Aaron Ramsdale.
- Mikel Arteta may use this match to get more minutes into Thomas Partey after he missed the start of the season through injury, though Ainsley-Maitland Niles and Albert Sambi Lokonga are fresh to come into the side.
- Going well in League One, despite defeat at the weekend, AFC Wimbledon should really go at this game with their best XI. They have no reported injuries to contend with.
I don't think this win will be as comfortable as many are predicting.
@Overmars You forget, Arsenal is Championship level and Wimbeldon is only League One.
Arsenal Team goals : Over 2,5. This should be a comfortable win adding some heavily needed confidence.
