Real Madrid
Man City
- Casemiro's return from suspension is massive for Real Madrid as he was sorely missed in midfield in the first leg. His return should see Federico Valverde move back into the front three as a defensive winger.
- David Alaba came off injured in the first leg and is reportedly set to miss the return game, with Nacho poised to deputise here.
- Joao Cancelo is back from suspension, while John Stones is the only player absent from training on Tuesday with Kyle Walker set to return at right-back.
- Leading 4-3 from the first leg, Pep Guardiola may well consider starting Ilkay Gundogan in midfield here and one of Bernardo Silva or Kevin De Bruyne up front. However, Gabriel Jesus has scored six goals in his last three so will be disappointed to drop out here.
- Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish will no doubt have to settle for a place on the bench here.
hala madrid <3
Rodrygo was the cheat code in this game
@MickeyClark Make him a statue
Camavinga is insane
@NuchalLine yeah, very talented and good athlete which is important in modern game
The best team in England's history VS the best team ever. What a final the world is about to witness. No City frauds or 2009 children, just pure football.
Pep should definitely leave the club, he has done everything possible. If the matches are lost this way, then just call it a day.
Payed, simple. payed. nothing else. this was fraud. This was simple fraud. Its like when liverpool played madrid in th fianl. If madrid beat liverpool, then its pure fraud. simple
Manchester City's biggest mistake was actually scoring a goal.
The mother of all comebacks to complete another sensational comeback! Rodrygo just loves playing in the champions league. Into the final! Vamos!! Hala Madrid!!
@Real_Madrid Y nada mas!
Guardiola GOAT.
Camavinga totally changed and dominated the game in every sense but you would never know this if you only trust whoscored.
@ChrisNeverMiss These metrics are so basic and primitive, Everyone would be a football manager if these stats were helpful
Fraudiola does it again.
Hiring Ancelotti was on the spot like I always said, am also sure all these players that signed for Real Madrid feel how special the club is and what a great decision they made, like Alaba who left Bayern. just expressing, goodnight everyone
@TetouanMorocco Ancelotti teams never play attractive football or have great combination plays but they do win quite often somehow ...
@neumi17 and that's the most important thing lol, but nah I disagree they do actually my german friend, well atleast Madrid's style knew such a boost in the beauty of there game since Carlo took over, same with 2014 season, Everton also played pretty football, it's only when he plays big clubs then he tends to play defense specially in first halfs and well he's a classic italian after all, and cz of that he didn't lose by a big margin in 1st legs, that's just tactics and I really value tactics and organisation on football that's why I like La Liga from the first place. imo Ancelotti's only flaw is rotating he doesn't know what rotation is lol but that also makes the team more stable anyway.
Madrid won La Liga before 4 games and reaches UCL final, meanwhile Cr will play conference league lmao
Wasn't Benzema's day, but Rodrygo was there for Real again. Amazing talent.
There's a reason this club has won it 13 times. Just praying its 14, for the sake of all football fans.
Benzema is definitly Balon d'or winner, assist and winning goal, Camavinga is so ready to take Kroos' spot on midfeild.
Like vs PSG Madrid sucked most of the time but then score 3 goals within 10 minutes.
@neumi17 PSG and City don't have the mentality to win the UCL. PSG is actually the most embarrassing and wasted UCL club in the history of this competition lmao
@neumi17 I'm no Madrid fan but they've got that winning mentality. They consistently manage to pull a win even when playing badly. I just can't believe how Man C forgot how to play football for overtime - that was really shameful.
@neumi17 Or Man City players choked in the final minutes just like those from PSG. Can't even blame the managers. They just lost the nerve as the are used to
They got rid of all oil clubs lol most that said will take UCL, and now vs Liverpool they play, only Bayern they didn't face, well La Liga's Villareal did the job.
Except for the last 6 minutes it was a horrible of Madrid ( again ). ManCity was better in all areas. But then Real has that mixture of willpower and luck and scores twice in the dying minutes. After that City couldn't come back because they don't have the mentality for those moments. Pep did nothing wrong this time, his team let him down. Real on the other hand was the worse team once again yet they always find a way to pull it off in the end.
@neumi17 yeah, Man C controlled the whole game except the parts where they needed it the most. For you guys, I really hope they come up with new trophies like kings of possessions and passes. My god I’ve been hearing this bullshit for 8 years and you still talk about being better or worse. Passing the ball before the box ad nauseam is not how you win big games, consistently. But, who am I speaking to, right.
@nlas I wasn't talking about passing the ball around uselessly, I was talking about dominating Real for 90 minutes and having 6-0 shots ON goal IN Madrid ! How could Real have been decent in that match if they didn't even match ONE shot on goal in a game at home ? The only thing that is typical for Real was the time in between the 90th and 92nd minute ...
@neumi17 dude, shot on goal by itself is useless. Shot on goal can be a slower from 35 meters. Vinicius and Benzema both threw away 100% chances. Vini right at the start of the 2nd half and Benzema when he was 8 meters from the goalie and missed. I would agree Man C dominated the first game. But just having possession is useless, look at the MAn C - Tottenham game. Apart from those 2 Grealish chances when Madrid had nothing to lose MAn C dominated NOTHING. And what good does it do to you to control the ball when you can’t control it WHEN IT MATTERS THE MOST.
The game was awful, so I am not going to be diplomatic: of the 2 losers, the lesser loser won! Vinicius should have been subbed by Rodrigo right at half-time and we, the fans, would have spared 30 minutes from our precious time: Real Madrid would have qualified within regular time. One sentence on Guardiola: how can someone fail to qualify with so much attacking strength is beyond me! If I were him, I would just say to my team: "Look guys, this loss is totally my bad - it was the perfect example how one should not approach a football game: you must play instead of "managing" the game". I doubt though that this will happen, mainly because only losers "manage" the game instead of playing to score goals!
@Zoltan do you understand how ucl works? Majority of teams that got this far don't have problem with attacking. They are top predators of their leauges and thus have to build teams to be bunker breakers and good at stopping counters. To win it tough it comes to whose defence can step up game and play variation of football which isnt their frist choice. If attacking prowess was that important then PSG would have full cabinet of UCL trophies.
@Zoltan If you were coach you would win everything, right?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
City outdid itself this time. How do you choke when you're up in the 92nd minute by 2 goals. Liverpool will be happy
0 shot on target for 90 minutes from Madrid is ridiculous, it's not satisfying at all to see a weak team like that qualifying for the final but hopefully they will turn up against Liverpool as well.
@Byakuya Never saw them in the final, but you can't knock them when they had to throw out PSG, Chelsea and now City. Every other strong team except Liverpool just bottled.
how Guardiola makes his squad? no back-up left-back, no back up defensive midfielder lol
Real Madrid must rename to Last Minute Penalty Madrid or to UEFA Madrid . A fraud team
@batman88 yeah, UEFA, who tried to throw out RM from CL before this season. You barkadogs are a speacila kind of stupid.
@batman88 CRY ME A RIVER
Real madrid , does not need special player to win. That club can win any competition. Simple as that. wow. I hope they lose here by Gods Grace.
@nceshNcero Except the Copa del Rey :D
@nceshNcero The referees helped a lot.
@hellreaper Which decision was bad? He did a good job.
@alx30 Oh a lot. Almost none of the faults given to Real were actually faults. Sometimes corner kicks not given to Manchester City, Casemiro grabbed Foden almost tearing his shirt and didn't see an yellow card, around the 34th minute and there was no penalty in the extra time. Clean tackles from City players which ended up in yellow card, stuff like that.
@hellreaper Italian referees plus Italian manager. Are you surprised?
@BeautifulLoser Now that's just clutching at straws.
@BeautifulLoser Brillant analysis...
Please God, bless MAN CITY with this opportunity. Please, so much hard work, and this. bribers,
Great game. Can't believe City bottled again. Real Madrid gave us by far the best matches of this UCL season.
great, fartdiola again punished for pussy defensive tactics
@koziol.mutant agreed
Unbelievable how City is throwing this away. I see them also giving the EPL away in the last minutes. Liverpool is going to win all prizes this season.
@Ludo Except the Champions League and the FA Cup.
@splint3r I'm a disappointed MC fan, not a Liverpool fan, but I just don't see Chelsea, nor Real Madrid win from them atm.
@Ludo I, on the other hand, see them both happening.
I managed to win with OVER 2.5 goals on this garbage but that's about the only positive I can say about it. Yeah, yeah, fantastic last minute goals but I would have loved to see what these two offensive machines are capable of doing right from the beginning. Now I must watch this stupid overtime without Mahrez and you know what that means: City is without his best player. Thanks Guardiola again for "masterminding" another failure right before the finish line! What's more, Ancelotti did his best to give you the qualification on a plate. Well, you didn't take it because you are such an utter loser!
GOAL!! its never over against Real Madrid until the game is over, 90min is a long ass period in Bernbeau.
What a game! Is Rodrygo becaming a legend?
I hope Madrid can still pull it off, but this City is by far the best squad since the decline of Messi's Barca.
And there it is ! Deserved ...
Had a feeling the game would be low scoring. After the 1st leg goal fest, the odds need to correct themselves. They underestimated the goals in the first leg, so they need to overestimate the goals in the second leg.
It's just a matter of time until City will get the lead in this game.
Time for Rodrygo, this is his time, right side need to move
City the better side as expected
Shots on goal : 0-5
To all Premiership fans: I hope you enjoy City's "game management" thus far LOL Perhaps a London Business School MBA graduate would do a better job than this pricy Guardiola! To all Ancelotti fans: I never liked the idea of defensive minded coaches - today is the prime example why; Ancelotti gave exactly 45 minute advantage for no reason to the opponent leading by 1 goal. There is no rational behind this other than the thinking that Ancelotti has no faith in his team: he doesn't want to outscore City because he has no faith in Real Madrid's offensive capabilities. What he is trying is to wait till the last minute and score a sneaky goal and go into overtime, then penalties: a typical italian defensive mindset. Guardiola, on the other hand, is stupid beyond belief because he is partner in this boring "game" that totally disrespects the fans who came out to see goals instead of having to watch this garbage!
Ay Vini what did u miss
benzema seems off
laporte should have got red
Just because the first leg had lots of goals, doesn't mean the second leg will!!!
@uefalona Oh shut up, here comes the "I didn't make a prediction but let me judge you" guy. Lowest score in predictions is 2-0, it would be over again if Madrid scored an early goal but it makes sense for City to defend and counter-attack like they did against Atletico since they already have the upper hand.
Why did everyone predict lots of goals?? Now its 0-0 and will probably be 0-0 at full time too.
@uefalona Now I hope you’ve learnt that football is not a 45 mins game
@uefalona 1:0
This referee team is biased as hell in favor of Real Madrid. How come Casemiro didn't see an yellow card for grabbing Foden like that...
Less than two goals
wow, I didn't know Laport is such a piece of dirt as a person
BTTS NO AND REAL MADRID TO WIN
City win @2.15
City win
1-3
over 5 goals and cards 11/1
2-0 Real
@Oversonly No Alaba, do you really honestly think City won't score at least 1? lool
This is one of those unpredictable matches where anything can happen. Goals can rain in from the very first minute, we might witness drama and humiliation, the match could end up being decided on penalties, and red cards are not impossible. After all, this is Madrid. On the other hand, it could also turn out to be the complete opposite. Boring, no dramatic goals, no humiliation of any kind--just stale and no taste. Nonetheless, one thing you can almost bank on is this: City will progress to the final. If Walker is available, I say 1:3/1:4 FT. Good luck boys!!

Karim Benzema ballon d'or will do it again.

In 53 matches this season, only once have Manchester City had fewer corners than their opponent.
@Rensen 3 were a tie
Over 3,5 goals @2.28
Madrid will qualify
Both teams to score @1.44 + Over 2.5 goals @1.50
Absolutely a draw and mancity to qualify
Both teams to score. Easy Money :)
2-2
man city score over 1.5 or2-3full time.
city and PE pep are about to dookie their pants as they do year after year after year after year after year....
Ake will start at LB if Walker doesn’t make it, not Zinchenko.
@McHennie Both are equally bad.
@splint3r That’s why they’re not first choice. But he believes that Ake brings the defensive solidity he wants in his team other than Zinchenko
@McHennie, you should have known @splint3r is just being a dick!
@Heseinburg Lol. Now I know better
Over 3.5 goals, btts and Real will win.
I hope Real will win. :)
Over 2.5 goals.There will be plenty of goals like in the 1st leg.
4-2 Madrid (bets in both halves)
