Team News
Eintracht Frankfurt
West Ham
- Only two of the 11 players that started the first leg kept their places in Frankfurt's defeat at Leverkusen on Monday so Oliver Glasner will be expected to revert to a similar lineup that won in London.
- He does, however, have both Evan Ndicka and Kristijan Jakic back available following suspension, who may well replace Almamy Toure and Sebastien Rode respectively.
- Back up goalkeeper Diant Ramaj is the only player unavailable for the hosts due to injury.
- Issa Diop was fit enough to make the bench against Arsenal and could return to the starting XI if David Moyes was to opt for a back three here.
- Ben Johnson is now sidelined, however, joining Angelo Ogbonna in the treatment room.
- Vladimir Coufal will take his place at right-back in what could be the only change from the first leg, though Said Benrahma is challenging Manuel Lanzini for a start.
Regardless of the outcome of the match, watching as a "neutral" I have to say the actions of Moyes were disgusting. Hopefully UEFA sanctions him properly because this would have been shocking even from a player, but from a manager who is supposed to set an example for his players, while also being a representative of his club. is just unacceptable.
@DanInter I wasn’t able to watch live, what did he do?
@sarigginsUSA Asked for a ball from the ball boy, and when he got it, he kicked it back at him.
@sarigginsUSA Have you ever heard of Google? Just type Moyes red card and thousands of results showing what he did, instead of waiting a comment here.
@Byakuya it would be faster to just answer him than to write this comment
@wilde You didn't as well, he's still waiting after 2 hours. With your logic, there's no need for highlights as well because someone just saying Frankfurt deserved to win would be faster.
@Byakuya no, that's clearly different.
Congratulations, West Ham United, for winning the "we eliminated Sevilla" trophy!
Eintracht Frankfurt will qualify for the Europa League final..
Frankfurt to score first.
2-0
Eintracht has 6 games in a row without winning at home, while West Ham beat Lyon 0-3.
Interesting prediction by whoscored but I believe EF will batter WH. They bloody smacked Barca at Camp Madrid
@NuchalLine hahahahahaha
Frankfurt attacks very high And with vigorous details This match is likely to have more goals Over 2.5 goals / over 3.5 goals
Are you seriously considering Eintracht Frankfurt as the outsiders against lowly West Ham? Even after they beat them AWAY in the first leg? I swear, this web-site is typical English media. Biased on basically every issue, when certain English clubs are concerned.
@splint3r I agree but I think they also look to the English league to be the best in the world so they think that any English club is superior...
@trick1 the EPL is the best.
@eastend1 EPL maybe the best in the world in times of quality players but not quality play.
@eastend1 from a viewer standpoint La Liga is the most entertaining, Bundesliga is the most unpredictable, and Premier League by far the most boring matches to watch.
@trick1 We just saw how good English teams are last night. The La Liga champions knocked the PL champions out of the CL.
@splint3r while another play in the CL final.
@eastend1 And they will also lose to Real Madrid. Mark my words.
@splint3r UEFA country ranking: Premier league - on top: 106.641 points. Spain - 95.855. Germans - 74.641. Takes into account 5 last years in european cups. Deal with it.
@jerzydrimmtimm In the last 5 seasons: Spanish teams - 7 European trophies; English teams - 6 European trophies; German teams - 2 European trophies; French and Italian ones - zero. Would you look at that, Spanish teams still won the most, even though they are supposed to be in a 'decline'! Statistics and rankings don't matter, the only thing that matters is what happens on the pitch and who wins the trophy at the end.
Under 3.5 goals @1.40
2-0
Frankfurt will win again.
