Team News

Liverpool
Wolves
  • Calvin Ramsey has been ruled out for the rest of the season with injury.
  • Thiago and Luis Diaz remain ruled out with injury.
  • Arthur and Ibrahima Konate remain doubts for this game, but could make a return soon.
  • Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez didn't feature against Crystal Palace and could be doubts for the game against Wolves.
  • Chiquinho and Sasa Kalajdzic both remain sidelined through injury.
  • Hwang Hee-Chan has been ruled out for a number of weeks with a hamstring injury and will continue to miss out.
  • Boubacar Traore could make a return from injury against Liverpool.
  • Matheus Cunha was stretchered off against Fulham and is unlikely to feature in this one. Raul Jimenez should start upfront in his place.

Prediction

  • Liverpool welcome Wolves to Anfield, with both teams picking up draws in their last matches.
  • Liverpool's last home game was against Real Madrid in the Champions League, where they were battered 5-2. They have, however, kept three clean sheets in the Premier League, and will want that run to continue at home. Their last league defeat was away to Wolves, so there will be an element of revenge here.
  • Wolves picked up a point against Fulham in their last outing, and this is their second trip to Anfield this season, having already drew 2-2 in the FA Cup, before going on to lose in the replay at Molineux. They did beat Liverpool 3-0 in the reverse fixture at the start of February, and will hope for a similar result away at Anfield.
  • Liverpool looked to be coming back into form before their UCL defeat, but a clean sheet against Palace might highlight their defence has improved in recent weeks.

  • How is Adama allowed to come in oiled up like Hulk Hogan in 1985????

  • @FootyFiyah Oiled up?

  • A different atmosphere compared to when Liverpool visited Molineaux, Wolves were lucky to put 3 Goals in but Liverpool never got on the front foot offensively in that match and I wonder if they struggle to do the same here as well given their recent schedule and lack of depth anywhere but the forward position. Wolves will make a strong push at the end of the season but will bear down defensively here on the trip to Anfield.

  • W1

  • W1 FINALLY!

  • I won't be surprised if Liverpool does win here.

  • @bopol correction doesn't win

  • At some stage , Liverpool must start winning points. They can't afford not to be in the champions league, considering how arrogant they've been over the past few years. I'm not a betting man, but for once I'll bet big for both Liverpool and Arsenal to win their matches at home on Wednesday. You guys must line up for some sweets on Thursday. Liverpool 2- Wolves, Arsenal 3-1 Everton

  • a draw 1-1

  • Liverpool will want revenge after losing the away fixture 3-0.
