Team News

Crystal Palace
Man City
  • Nathan Ferguson and Sam Johnstone remain sidelined with injury.
  • Cheick Oumar Doucoure's sending off against Aston Villa means he is suspended for this game.
  • Phil Foden will have to be assessed before this game, after the foot he injured previously this season flared up against Newcastle.

Prediction

  • Crystal Palace remain the only team without a win in 2023 in the Premier League and come into this game on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa last weekend. In some ways they have been unlucky, having drawn five of their last seven league matches and the two they lost were only decided by a single goal. Defensively though they have conceded 17 of the 32 goals against them at home.
  • Manchester City maintained pressure on league leaders Arsenal last weekend with a 2-0 win over Newcastle. The only occasions they have been defeated away from home in the league this season came against Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham and altogether only Arsenal (31) have picked up more points away from home than Pep Guardiola's side (24) this season.
  • With City in top form at the moment, expect them to beat a Palace side who are struggling.

  • City did jack sh*t all game, but of course they got a fluke penalty in order to win. Pathetic.

  • I liked Haaland's passes. All six of them.

  • Mahrez to come on 55th minute, score 66th, 77th, 88th minute Hat-Trick.

  • @Geolardo Nothing of this happened, he didn't even play.

  • interesting, given h2h it is 0-0 or 0-2. Tend to the latter.

  • Palace double chance
