Team News

Tottenham
Chelsea
  • There's been no change in the Tottenham physio room, with Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Sessegnon out.
  • Antonio Conte won't be in the dugout again this weekend, with Cristian Stellini set to take charge once again.
  • Oliver Skipp, Ben Davies and Richarlison may keep their spots in the side that started the 2-0 win over West Ham last weekend.
  • Cesar Azpilicueta joins Armando Broja, Christian Pulisic, N'Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy on the sidelines due to concussion protocol.
  • Graham Potter may make a couple of changes to the XI the started the 1-0 home loss to Southampton.
  • Reece James, Thiago Silva, Mykhailo Mudryk and Kai Havertz could all start as Potter looks to correct Chelsea's dire form.

Prediction

  • Tottenham recovered from back-to-back defeats to Leicester and AC Milan with a 2-0 London derby win over West Ham last weekend. Spurs have now won three of their last four games on home turf, keeping a clean sheet in each of those three victories.
  • Graham Potter is under pressure following yet another defeat last weekend to make it two wins in 14. The Blues boss has lost four of seven games against Spurs in his managerial career, three of which have been when he has managed the away side.
  • Chelsea have won their last three league trips to Spurs, but with the Blues in poor form, the pendulum may well swing back in the home side's favour this weekend.

  • So we're ignoring the fact that the referee really gave Zyiech a yellow card for punch against the face? After VAR complained about his correct red card decision?? How on earth is this justified? I mean did I miss something? Has the rules changed because right now this makes zero sense imo. This is easily the weirdest referee decision of the Premier League in this month.

  • @ChrisNeverMiss He pushed his arm, but his arms slipped and accidentally hit Emerson's face. He pushed him because Emerson pushed him first. I don't even like Zyiech, but that would have been very unfair if he was sent off for that.

  • @ChrisNeverMiss I was happy for Ziyech to see his team lose from on the pitch.

  • Enough is enough

  • Chelsea is on fire now =))

  • Chelsea can't produce one single thing of goal...

  • Surely Potter must be sacked now ?

  • Chelsea are relegation form and Harry Potter is still the manager. This will continue until he is fired. Abramovich would have fired Harry within his first ten games. Boehly has no idea what he's doing.

  • Chelsea has scored ONE goal in the last 5,5 games combined.

  • @neumi17 Congrats to Felix for chelsea's goal of the month award..

  • @neumi17 six games now and that ONE goal was against West Ham who have been pretty woeful.

  • The referee must be a Chelsea fan, for what Ziyech has done, it should be a straight RED card not Yellow!

  • Havertz plays again ... we'll see about that.

  • Apart from cup finals, Tottenham's record against Chelsea is notoriously bad (even when Chelsea are out of form). Nevertheless, Chelsea are yet to beat anyone in the top half and Tottenham looked surprisingly fresh against West Ham but maybe West Ham are so bad they made Tottenham look good. Some have speculated that the absence of Conte (who isn't having a great time for many reasons) helped raise the mood. Conte is again absent today. Tottenham 1-1 Chelsea

  • Tottenham are three points better off than they were last season when they finished 4th whereas Chelsea are three points better off than they were in 2015-2016 when they finished 10th.

  • Chelsea can score.

  • @mandrake4444 but not today.

  • Spurs Win.

  • 1-0 but hope 1-1

  • if chelsea lose this match then surely Potter is sacked

  • Lots of corners

  • @buthethi if true that should be good for Tottenham. COYS!

  • I predict that if Chelsea win their fair weather fans will suddenly come out from hiding after weeks of relative silence.

  • @MEHJones i am a Chelsea fan and i think that Potter needs to be fired, he does not have enough quality to coach such (over)paid players

  • @dadodinamo7 who do you think should be manager of Chelsea?

  • Chelsea's turning point of the season, 1-3.

  • Bet W1

  • A red card seems probable.

  • Graham Potter is yet another example of English media hype. Another L incoming :)

  • Chelsea Team Squad Value Best in Europe. How can you get a score like that?

  • @Iseethebest Not best value but overpriced.

  • Chelsea Team Manager Nationality England. sand grain team. Squad value, waste of money 5-0

  • 1-1
