Team News

Aston Villa
  • Emiliano Martinez came off at the break in Aston Villa's 1-1 draw with Brentford due to illness, but should be fine to start.
  • Elsewhere, Unai Emery remains without Philippe Coutinho, Leon Bailey, Jed Steer, Matty Cash and Boubacar Kamara
  • It wouldn't be a shock to see Emery name an unchanged XI despite the quick turnaround in games.
  • Dan James is available for selection having been ineligible to face his parent club, and the Welshman may start for Fulham at Aston Villa.
  • Layvin Kurzawa and Aleksandar Mitrovic miss out due to injury and suspension, respectively.
  • Marco Silva has plenty of options available to him should he look to rotate.

  • Aston Villa extended their unbeaten run to nine games as they held Brentford to a 1-1 draw in west London on Saturday. Villa were far from their best, so Unai Emery will demand an improved showing from his players in midweek.
  • Fulham made it back-to-back league wins as they beat Leeds 2-1 in Saturday's early kick off to keep their slim hopes of a top-six finish alive. They do need to beat Villa here, however, which will be easier said than done seeing as the Villans have won their last four on home turf.
  • Given Villa's home form, they should secure all the spoils on Tuesday night, but Fulham will likely push Unai Emery's side all the way.
