Team News

  • Manager Okan Buruk has a full squad available to pick from.
  • Lionel Carole is nursing an injury and if he cannot start here, Gokhan Sazdagi will feature as a make-shift left-back.
  • Ali Karimi is training but lacks match fitness so he is unikley to start here.
  • Nurettin Korkmaz, who wasn't expected to start against Galatasaray, is also injured.

  • Galatasaray went back to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Adane Demirspor last time out. They conceded more chances than Buruk would have liked and their midfield was uncharacteristically fragile but in the title race, a clean-sheet against Adana Demirspor is as good a result any contender can hope to get. Every single game from now on will be a final for Buruk and his team. And at home, where they've been simply mesmerizing the entire season, they are likely to win each and every one of those finals.
  • Kayserispor managed to beat Umraniyespor 3-1 last time out. Despite missing key players in the squad and having to field midfielders and wingers in fullback positions, Atan managed to guide his team to another victory. However, they did concede quite a few chances, and had they been facing a more clinical side, like their hosts this time out, the scoreline could have been very different.
  • Kayserispor have done very well in their away fixtures so far this season and they will not be pushovers here. However, taking into account the number and quality of impact players on Gala's bench, a home win, albeit a very narrow one, is the likeliest result.
