Portugal are the reall villains here. They prevented us from watching a great derby (Brazil - Uruguay) by losing on purpose to South Korea. What we are watching now is not a football match. It is a massacre.
@tinyclaw Yes, I agree that Brazil would have probably won by a small margin. But at least there would have been a contest. Whereas this game right now is just... unnecessary.
@Sputnik ...the first half had shown the real difference between the 2 teams. The 2nd half is just the product of "let's defend our clean sheet (in the back) - I will now show what I can do entirely on my own (up front)" mindset, which is totally opposite of the one touch team football game Brazil has played in the first half. Specifically, Richarlison, Rafinha, Neymar, and even Vinicius looked like they are shadows of their earlier selves!
@Sputnik What contest??? Are you a mazochist??? This is how a real offensive minded football match looks like (at least the 1st half: in the 2nd half Brazil went back to the same mindless, individualistic, athletic, defensive game plan you love so much - enjoy the contest in the 2nd half then! LOL South Korea won the second half by 1-0)
This is what happens when the better team (Brazil) is not scared to death from his opponent (Brazil in all of their earlier games in this WC). Free flowing game, everything is fluid, impossible to stop because the Korean defence simply has no time to stop the Brazilian attackers. Too bad that these type of games just come about by chance, rather than by shear confidence and coaching acumen (coaching acumen because it is well known that fear hinders performance and favours the weaker team). P.S. I cannot help but laugh about the media droids who pretend like this type of Brazil was present throughout the WC - they never draw any conclusions just praise anything they see: whether garbage or a great game such as today LOL.
Brazil with the most comprehensive Neymar in recent years is literally destroying Korea. Glad to see Paqueta dancing with the ball again, England is probably not a suitable place for him.
@Marbella Croatia didn't even do anything against Japan. I think on this side of the bracket, only Argentina can beat Brazil, but Argentina might lose against Netherlands dislite being dominated. All the other good teams are on the other side of the bracket: Portugal, Spain, England and France
Son Heung-min. Try to spark the consolation goal dead neutral into the raging black hole between the crossbar and the goal-line (and the two posts/uprights),

So, you just run into the back of a player about to strike a ball, prevent him from striking it by kicking his foot, then fall over. That's a penalty... that they love to gift Brazil.
"Hey refs... make sure you get this team as far as possible as easily as possible. Here's a few grand for your efforts."
Korea will stifle them. Neymar will get frustrated. A Koren player, standing 10' away from Neymar will wave at the crowd, Neymar will go down like the player punched him and roll over the turf, back and forth, to the point where he leaves a patch of soil, screaming, crying, holding his face. The referee will award a penalty... hey, this is Brazil after all.
Brazil received an interesting and comfortable knockout stage table. They face two asian teams in a row, that could never be matters though Brazil have some missing players.
Neymar officially back? The team just keeps picking up injuries. Alex Sandro, Danilo, Alex Telles, Gabriel Jesus and Neymar. Who will play left back? Defence Militao, Silva, Bremer Marquinhos? I don't believe Neymar will play.
@Marbella So sick! This kind of bad luck can cost them. I saw Pedro against Cameroon. What an awful player. It's all about Richarlison now in the Central Forward role. Still Raphinha/Antony RWF and Vini/Martinelli LWF and Rodrygo that can play on multiple positions. Korea shouldn't be that big of a problem.
it will take a real choke in brazils defence to lose this, otherwise theyre the side with much better quality, individual play and also tactical setup coming into this (as we know). even if they concede a counterattack which i dont believe will happen, theyre at that level of play and quality that they will actually make use of their possession (yes thats a shot at spain) and get back into it
Who else hates it when the first half is so interesting and the second half is boring.
Vinicous What a genius MVP
Hi Whoscored, You missed 2 shots in your stats for Korea in the min. 67.34
We may have just seen the winners of the WC.Strolled through the game with little effort needed.
@Marbella Argentina. Since the final of the WC 2014, I wanted Argentina to Win so badly.
@Marbella Relax, it was just South Korea.
@Sputnik Who do you think will win it ?
@Marbella Argentina.
@Marbella France
Unbelievable goal by Seung-Ho!

@Sputnik You probably didn't see Brazil vs Uruguay in the Qualifiers. Brazil won 4-1 when they should have scored 15 goals.
@Marcmc A World Cup knockout game between 2 rival teams is very, very different from a qualifying game.
@Sputnik The way Uruguay played I doubt it would be a great derby. Brazil would have been given the same penalty for free as well.

@Zoltan I was talking about the game-that-never-was, you idiоt. Brazil - Uruguay, that would have been a contest, this wasn't.

How did raphinha or neymar not get the assist for the first goal?
@Dreamteam or am I missing something?
@Dreamteam neymar has now, i needed raphinha for a bet
Brazil with the most comprehensive Neymar in recent years is literally destroying Korea. Glad to see Paqueta dancing with the ball again, England is probably not a suitable place for him.
Brazil will easily beat Croatia in the next round.
@Marbella Croatia didn't even do anything against Japan. I think on this side of the bracket, only Argentina can beat Brazil, but Argentina might lose against Netherlands dislite being dominated. All the other good teams are on the other side of the bracket: Portugal, Spain, England and France
This is too easy for Brazil..

The most beautiful Brazil in ages. The most attractive football playing team in this tournament.
Korea is so good still they have no chance...
this is over kill. Brazil use like their strongest team to fight Korea.
So, you just run into the back of a player about to strike a ball, prevent him from striking it by kicking his foot, then fall over. That's a penalty... that they love to gift Brazil. @tinyclaw agree its not a penalty. .
4-0. Still counting
OVER was FREE MONEY!
@Oversonly I thought you backed unders ?
Things are not going well for south Korea now.. Goal within 7 mins and now a pen.
whoscored are giving korea an advantage by brazil having a player less
@3shots what do you mean
@wilde they missed players off at the start
@3shots sorry, make that 10 a side
Don't know why it's looks like a highscoring game to me. Over 5.5 goals
@MickeyClark well
@benemsley Haha, brother how on earth it ended under 6 goals it could've been at least 7 goals if raphina convert those chances.
If Netherlands (which is doing poor) knocks out Argentina, Brazil will only face a decent team in the final lol
@hellreaper it's their world cup to lose
Hayya, Hayya, Hayya BRAZIL! Hayya, Hayya, Ha—
3-0 Brazil
@KingKeno More like 11-0 Brazil.
3-1
South Korea +1.5 UNDER 2.5
Brazil Win and over 2.5 goals in the game @ 1.90 Odds.
@Marbella That was easy money lol
@Marbella As long as brazil do not throw awzy a 3-0 lead lol
South Korea will just sit back and counter attack but Brazil will have too much attacking power for them.
Step too far for South Koria - 1 0 win for Brazil

Brazil 1 South Korea 0.
Handicap -1.5 for Brazil
Brazil 3-0
Neymar can play confirmed! Let the games begin! Vamoo Brasil!!
@StickandMove Correct thankfully
Brazil to score over 1.5 goals @1.44
Good that this WC isn't hosted in South Korea..
Brazil received an interesting and comfortable knockout stage table. They face two asian teams in a row, that could never be matters though Brazil have some missing players.
The largest gap among 1/8-finals like ARG vs AUS.
Brazil is playing from the back, so 2-0
Neymar officially back? The team just keeps picking up injuries. Alex Sandro, Danilo, Alex Telles, Gabriel Jesus and Neymar. Who will play left back? Defence Militao, Silva, Bremer Marquinhos? I don't believe Neymar will play.
Gabriel Jesus and Alex Telles have been ruled out of the rest of the World Cup after picking up injuries in Brazil's 1-0 defeat by Cameroon on Friday.

This will be tougher game for Brazil then people expect.
