Team News

  • Nicolas Jackson will hope to be available for selection having missed the 4-1 loss at Liverpool.
  • Otherwise, Mauricio Pochettino is without eight players owing to injury.
  • Christopher Nkunku and Malo Gusto may start in place of Noni Madueke and Benoit Badiashile on Sunday afternoon.
  • Joao Gomes returns following a ban and could start in the middle of the park.
  • Pablo Sarabia and Rayan Ait-Nouri both impressed off the bench against Manchester United and should be rewarded with starts.
  • Hwang Hee-Chan and Boubacar Traore are with their respective national teams.

  • Chelsea were humbled by Liverpool on Wednesday night and they have now lost six of their last seven away games. The Blues are at least solid at home having gone unbeaten at Stamford Bridge since the start of November.
  • Wolves thought they'd rescued a point against Manchester United on Thursday night only to lose 4-3 in an entertaining seven-goal thriller. Gary O'Neil's side are unbeaten in four on the road but are winless in 10 at Stamford Bridge.
  • Chelsea are a far better side on home turf and should bounce back from their heavy loss at Anfield here.
