Wigan
Arsenal
- Antolin Alcaraz continues to serve his three-match suspension for spitting at an opponent in Wigan's defeat to Wolves.
- Wigan climbed above Blackburn and off the bottom of the league after a last gasp win over Sunderland having been dominated for much of the game, particularly in the first half.
- James McArthur and Franco Di Santo both came off the bench and combined to score the winner in injury time, meaning both may start this weekend, while Hugo Rodallega was dropped and could continue to miss out.
- Jack Wilshere and Bacary Sagna remain long term absentees, with defenders Jenkinson and Gibbs also sidelined.
- Arsene Wenger must choose between Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker as to who should partner Thomas Vermaelen at the back, with Djourou likely to continue on the right.
- Andrey Arshavin replaced Gervinho to little effect against Fulham last weekend, which should see the Ivorian return to the starting XI.
Tough game for Arsenal...
Arenal should win comfortably.
As if this game won't end up in a rout! Wigan have scored 5 in their last 2 against Arsenal at the DW but don't have any goalscorers now
