Team News

Juventus
Siena
  • As Juventus didn't play on Tuesday, Conte has his full squad available and rested.
  • The coach is going to field the XI that led the club to the top of the table so far this season: Vucinic and Pepe to support Matri.
  • Bonucci and De Ceglie are in contention for a spot in the defence.
  • Terzi and D'Agostino may be granted some rest, with Contini and Gazzi ready to play from kick-off.
  • Angelo and Brienza should play on the flanks, unless a chance is given to Mannini, who has lost his spot in the starting XI.
  • Destro and Calaiò are still keeping Reginaldo, Larrondo and Gonzalez out of the team.

Prediction

  • In the end, coach Conte may be happy to not have played on Tuesday, as Milan slipped up and now the team is rested. They will have to fit in the game in hand at a later date, but as Juventus have no European fixtures, that will not be such a stressful task.
  • Siena's game was also cancelled, and they now go to Turin to play the table toppers while Lecce have the chance to win at home and catch them in the standings. Coach Sannino will have to go for one point and then remind his team they still have a game in hand on their rivals.
  • Juventus are going to take advantage of the enthusiasm that Milan's defeat in Rome generated. With the Rossoneri playing at the same time against Napoli, Conte's team may play free from pressure and play their best football. Expect Juventus to attack from the start, and Siena to stay back and defend with their usual order. If the away side manage to survive the first half, then they may have a chance to snatch a point. But if the home team takes an early lead, then there is very little chance of a come back.
  • PREDICTION: Juventus win 2-0.
