Team News
Olympiacos
Arsenal
- Olympiakos come into this game having won 4 and lost just 1 of their last 6 matches. They require an unlikely victory here, as well as Marseille to slip up against Dortmund in Germany. Dortmund need to win by more than 3 goals to have any chance of qualifying so they will have to go for the win, so Olympiakos are far from out of the running.
- They will have to do without Ibagaza, Fejsa and Fuster for this game.
- Top scorer Rafik Djebbour will lead the line as per usual.
- Arsenal are already guaranteed top spot in Group F, and Arsene Wenger therefore has the luxury of being able to rest any number of first team players.
- Wenger has already expressed his concern that Robin van Persie could suffer from fatigue if he is relied upon for 90 minutes in every match Arsenal play, so he will undoubtedly be rested.
- Diaby is back from injury and in contention to play.
Yeah this boring greek team is wiinning 2-0...i dont give a **** about RvP,is still Arsenal...
RVP will definitely be rested, but dont know about the rest. Dont want boring Greek teams to go through...
Arsenal will undoubtedly rest the likes of RvP, Vermaelen, Arteta etc. and Olympiakos need to win really. Think they'll get at least a draw
