Team News

  • Subotic, Koch and Bender all remain out for Dortmund having missed the 1-1 draw with Gladbach at the weekend.
  • Manager Klopp will probably stick with his 4-2-3-1 formation, but could opt to field another striker, as his side need to win by at least 3 goals to stand any chance of qualifying.
  • Schmelzer is also unavailable through suspension.
  • Marseille have had an extra days rest since their Ligue 1 match against Caen on Friday. Andre-Pierre Gignac picked up a groin injury in that match and will miss out here.
  • Stephane M'Bia picked up a knock and is a doubt, but Deschamps has stated that it is nothing serious.
  • Loic Remy sat out the last match but should be back for this game.

  • A win for Marseille will put them through to the next round of Europe's premier club competition, ragrdless of other results in the group. Dortmund still have an outside chance of making it through, though it is very unlikely, as they would have to win by at least a 3 goal margin as well as counting on Arsenal, who are already through, to pick up a result in Greece.
  • Marseille have won their last 2 matches, including an impressive 3-0 win over PSG, but Dortmund have plenty of attacking threat, and have picked up a few big victories recently, namely 5-0 and 5-1 wins over Wolfsburg and Cologne. They have lost just 1 of their last 9 matches in all competitions, and will be confident they can get a win, though the goals they need to score may prove to be their downfall.
  • Expect an open game as both teams go for broke in their attempts to reach the next round.
  • WHOSCORED.COM Predicts: Dortmund win 3-1
