Team News

  • PSG still have a number of injury problems to contend with.
  • Christophe Jallet is still struggling with a thigh injury, and Kevin Gameiro and Jeremy Menez are doubts with similar problems.
  • Mathieu Bodmer has a groin injury.
  • However, PSG will be able to welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to league action. The Swede has completed his two-match suspension and should return to the starting line-up.
  • Troyes are set to be without a host of first-team players for this vital clash.
  • Sebastien Grax is expected to be out for a month with a knee problem, while Jeremie Brechet is out with a groin injury.
  • Julien Faussurier has a knee complaint, and Stephen Drouin is unavailable with a groin problem.
  • Stephane Darbion also misses out with hamstring injury.

  • Paris Saint-Germain go into their clash with Troyes desperate for victory after falling to their second defeat in three league games at the hands of nine man Rennes last weekend.
  • The capital club were again unable to earn victory without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as Rennes held out despite their two man disadvantage to secure a famous victory at the Parc Des Princes. The defeat knocked the Parisians off the top of the table as they were overtaken by Lyon and Bordeaux.
  • Meanwhile Troyes played out a thriller with fellow strugglers Nancy at the Stade de L'Aube, the Ligue 1 new boys came back from 3-1 down to gain a point thanks to a late double from Benjamin Nivet. The result still leaves the men from the champagne region stuck in the bottom three, but they will gain renewed confidence from their fightback as they aim to survive in the top flight.
  • However, in spite of their morale boosting result last time out, it is difficult to envisage Jean-Marc Furlan's men leaving Paris with anything other than a defeat. Expect the returning Zlatan Ibrahimovic to help guide his team to a comfortable win and help get their quest for the title back on track.

  • Yes i agree, he should have 2 assists! That goal was all ibras set-up!

  • Ibra scored twice. And he also assisted twice. Not just once. That touch on the Troyes defender doesn't count as a non-assist!

  • Ibra back? was he ever gone?

  • OK, I was wrong, but the performance was poor overall.

  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice! Ibrahimovic is back!

  • My boyzzzz :D

  • 4-0? What? It is a bit exaggerated, but surely Paris will win.
