Team News

  • Sochaux continue to struggle with a frankly gigantic injury list.
  • Carlao is expected to miss out after picking up an injury against Lorient, while Yassin Mikari, Vincent Nogueira and Roy Contout are all doubts.
  • Yaya Banana, Cedric Kante and Pierrick Cros are all out with knee injuries, while Frederic Duplus has a thigh problem.
  • Thierry Doubai, Sanjin Prcic and Edouard Butin will miss out once more due to knee complaints, and Joseph Lopy is absent with an ankle inury.
  • David Sauget is still on the sidelines, while it remains to be seen whether Kalilou Traore and Sebastien Roudet will be fit in time for the weekend.
  • There is one piece of good news however, as Loic Poujol returns from suspension.
  • Benoit Lesoimier and Ahmed Kantari are both set to return from suspension for Brest, but Landry Chauvin is set to be without Larsen Toure, who is not expected to recover in time for this game.
  • Alexandre Alphonse is still unavailable due to an achilles problem, and Adama Ba has a back injury.

  • Sochaux welcome Brest to the Stade Auguste Bonal facing an injury crisis and looking to recover from a 2-0 defeat to Lorient.
  • Les Lionceaux's first-team squad has been left decimated by injuries, and their makeshift side may find it difficult to take three points this weekend, even against a Brest side that historically struggles on their travels.
  • Indeed, Landry Chauvin's men are better known for their home form, but they have suffered a dip in results in recent weeks, and will hope to pull away from the relegation zone following their loss to Montpellier in midweek.
  • Expect the home fans to try and rally their beleaguered team on to some kind of positive result, but while Sochaux with Ryad Boudebouz in the side, always carry an attacking threat, it is difficult to see them taking anything from the game with so many players in the treatment room.
