Team News

  • Nice could be without defender Kevin Gomis, who has a calf problem. Stephane Bahoken, Diacko Fofana, Cyril Hennion and Moussa M'Bow are all still on the sidelines.
  • Xavier Pentecote and Fabien Dao Castellana are not yet fit enough to return, but Lloyd Palun comes back from suspension.
  • Evian should be able to welcome back both Stephan Andersen and Daniel Wass, who missed the midweek clash with Troyes through illness.
  • However John Mensah is still out with a thigh injury and Ali M'Madi remains unavailable.

  • Nice and Evian meet on the South Coast both looking to build on positive results in midweek.
  • Les Aiglons have been on a fine run of form recently, and their 1-0 win over Rennes made it seven games without defeat for Claude Puel's men.
  • Puel has seen his side overcome PSG, Toulouse and draw with Marseille during that run, and they will be confident of earning another three points against an Evian side that has been inconsistent this campaign.
  • The men from Annecy did manage to pull out a 2-0 win over relegation-threatened Troyes a few days ago, however a trip to the intimidating atmosphere of the Stade du Ray is a different proposition, and Nice will undoubtedly go into this clash as the clear favourites.
