  • Allen was superb. His distribution, the way he takes pressure off his teammates, he fits in perfectly in the pass and move style. His defensive contribution was the best from Liverpool's midfield, he passes into the spaces and plays perfect simple football. Not exceptional, but his regular game. He's a very good player, and an incredible addition to Liverpool's squad. Sterling was brilliant as well, bright future for the lad.

  • Suarez scored a brilliant goal. Also, he creates chances with his movement, even if he fluffs many of them. Rodgers' pimping of Allen is merely his way of trying to instill a passing style. Don't see how Allen was exceptional.

  • Joe Allen was clearly MOTM and is only rated 6,9. That's not right at all. Much better than for instance Suarez who had a really bad game.
