Team News
Man Utd
West Ham
- Paul Scholes is suspended after picking up a fifth yellow card of the season against QPR, while Kagawa, Valencia and Nani are set to remain sidelined.
- The likes of Carrick, Cleverley and Giggs were all rested last time out and could return to the line-up, though Anderson and Hernandez both made positive impacts from the bench and will hope to be rewarded in kind.
- Darren Fletcher starred in the 3-1 win at the weekend but is unlikely to play two back-to-back games in such a short space of time having only recently returned to fitness.
- Mark Noble picked up his fifth caution of the season at the weekend and will miss the match with United, meaning Tomkins may move forward into holding midfield with Collins returning at centre-back.
- Elsewhere Maiga and O'Neil are likely to be dropped from the starting XI with Jarvis and Taylor both back fit and available to take their places out wide.
- Andy Carroll will continue to lead the line up front having netted his first goal of the season and first for the Hammers since his loan move from Liverpool last time out against Tottenham.
