Chelsea
- Steven Fletcher was forced off at half time in the loss at Carrow Road last week with an ankle injury, but he is likely to recover in time to start up front.
- John O'Shea is stepping up his recovery from a calf injury and is back in training, but is unlikely to be back in the team just yet.
- Lee Cattermole's knee injury looks set to rule him out for a couple of months, while Jack Colback could be back in central midfield after missing out against Norwich.
- John Obi Mikel has been handed a 3 game for his part in the incident involving Mark Clattenberg in the Man Utd game on October 28. Oriol Romeu will come in to central midfield.
- Frank Lampard might provide another option, having seemingly have overcome the worst of his calf injury, and could be back in contention to play here, though he is unlikely to start.
- David Luiz returns from domestic suspension and could partner Gary Cahill at centre-back, with Branislav Ivanovic moving out to right-back, as they lined up against Nordsjaelland in midweek.
- John Terry remains absent and Daniel Sturridge is also not ready to return.
