Team News
Tottenham
Everton
- Gareth Bale suffered a terrible looking ankle injury towards the end of Spurs' Europa League draw with Basel on Thursday night, but Andre Villas-Boas is hopeful that his star man will only miss 2 games as a result.
- Aaron Lennon and William Gallas both limped off in that game as well and will certainly miss Sunday's match up with Everton.
- Hugo Lloris should return in goal, while it will be a new-look and somewhat makeshift midfield for Spurs, who may even be forced into playing Mousa Dembele wide again.
- Tim Howard returned between the posts to face Stoke last week, and he will play once again here.
- Everton could play with the 3 man defence that they fielded last time out, but could equally likely revert to the 4 man defence they have preferred for the most part this season.
- Pienaar and Fellaini are both suspended so Everton will be severely weakened, while Mirallas is rated as 50-50 for the game.
Tottenham 0 - 1 Everton
C'mon you SPURS!!!!
A draw or loss for Tottenham would be great for Arsenal! I'll be cheering for Everton tomorrow!
