Valencia
- Deportivo fell back to the foot of the table after losing 2-1 at Osasuna last weekend.
- Carlos Marchena and Laure will again miss out through injury but Ayoze is fit again so he could return at left-back with Silvio moving over to his favoured side at right-back.
- Abel Aguilar and Riki are also doubtful so Nelson Oliveira could be handed a rare start up front with Pablo Assunção continuing in midfield.
- Valencia's positive momentum under Ernesto Valverde was halted in dramatic fashion last weekend as they were blown away in the first-half by Real Madrid on their way to a 5-0 defeat at Mestalla.
- There was further bad news for Los Che as Roberto Soldado was ruled out of their Copa del Rey second-leg with Madrid in midweek with a muscle injury and the Spanish international remains a doubt for their trip to Galicia.
- David Albelda, Sofiane Feghouli, Jeremy Mathieu and Daniel Parejo are also unavailable, but Sergio Canales could make his first league appearance of the season after making his comeback in midweek.
