Valencia
Levante
- Two goals from Jonas completed Valencia's comeback against Real Zaragoza last time out, and though it might not have given them the three points, the draw moved them just one point off of fourth spot.
- Suspensions have given Ernesto Valverde a selection headache in defence, with Cissokho, Ricardo Costa and midfielder Éver Banega all having accumulated too many yellow cards. Tino Costa does return and may have to play in an unfamiliar role at centre-back.
- Jeremy Mathieu has played for the first time since October, but it may be a little early for the Frenchman to start here, with Andrés Guardado expected to line-up at left-back.
- Juan Ignacio Martinez admitted to making the wrong decisions for Levante on Monday night, conceding that defeat to Osasuna was deserved.
- Gustavo Munúa should return between the posts, with Keylor Navas stepping aside, and Christian Lell remains on the sidelines.
- Their other right-back Pedro López is also out, so Loukas Vyntra will fill in in that position once again, and with former Liverpool winger Nabil El Zhar back fit he is likely to replace Pedro Ríos.
