Team News
Real Betis
Granada
- Betis moved up to fourth with a 4-2 win at Getafe on Monday night and could go into third for 48 hours with a win over struggling Andalusian rivals Granada.
- Mario remains a doubt so Damien Perquis is expected to keep his place in the back four but there could be a return for the fit again Rubén Pérez in place of Jose Cañas.
- Salva Sevilla should also keep his place after scoring for the second consecutive game so Jorge Molina is expected to remain on the bench despite scoring the opener as a substitute at the Alfonso Perez Coliseum.
- Granada's poor run continued with a 2-1 home defeat to Athletic Bilbao last weekend and with his side languishing in the relegation zone, Juan Antonio Anquela has become a favourite to be the first manager sacked in La Liga this season.
- Borja Gomez could return in defence due to an injury to Diego Mainz who started for only the second time this season last weekend and there could also be recalls for Floro Flores and Odion Ighalo.
- However, Anquela might be reluctant to move Youssef El-Arabi back into the deeper position he started the season in as the Moroccan has now scored in each of his last four games.
Perquis hit woodwork, no Paulao.
