Team News
Osasuna
Getafe
- After his team were comfortably beaten 4-0 by Valencia, with two players sent off in the heavy defeat, José Luis Mendilibar stated, "I do not think we have any excuses whatsoever."
- The players dismissed were centre-back Alejandro Arribas and attacking midfielder David Timor, leaving Osasuna with a total of seven players missing.
- Rubén Gonzales Rocha is back, so should appear in the heart of defence, whilst Marc Bertrán could return at right-back with Oier moving to the left.
- Luis Garcia was pleased with how his team responded after going a goal down early on against Real Sociedad, stating after the 2-1 win, "The key was staying focused in the game. We have given them almost no chances, they have created very few."
- Garcia opted to start playmaker Angel Lafita in a lone striking role, admitting that he was looking for a more physical presence up front.
- There's every chance he may start in the position again against a strong team like Osasuna, and as there are no fresh injuries Garcia might even name an unchanged team.
