Team News

  • Osasuna remain just a point clear of the relegation zone after they were extremely unlucky to come away from Getafe with just a 1-1 draw last weekend as the hosts were rewarded a very dubious penalty in stoppage time.
  • Kike Sola had put Los Rojillos in front with his third goal in his last five games after Emiliano Armenteros had been sent-off so the Argentine will miss the visit of Granada through suspension and is likely to be replaced by Roland Lamah.
  • Elsewhere, though, Jose Luis Mendilibar is expected to keep faith with those who started against Getafe
  • Granada's winless streak meanwhile stretched to five games as once again they couldn't find the back of the net in a 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad last time out.
  • The Andalusians impotence in front of goal could see a return for top-scorer Youssef El-Arabi ahead of Yacine Brahimi or Odion Ighalo in attack.
  • There are also injury concerns at the back though as Guillherme Siqueira is doubtful with a muscular problem so Bryan Angulo could start at left-back, whilst Roberto will continue to deputise for the injured Toño in goal.

  • This is a huge clash in the context of the relegation battle with both sides located just above the drop zone. It is also therefore a game where the result matters more than the performance and in that type of battle, and with home advantage, Osasuna tend to come up trumps.
  • In Kike Sola the Navarrans have exactly what Granada are lacking in a striker in form and it is hard to see Juan Antonio Anquela's men creating too many chances given their current streak in front of goal and the fact that Osasuna have conceded just once from open play in their last six league games.
