Team News

  • Coach Stramaccioni has to deal with a number of injuries, the most important of them being Walter Samuel.
  • Without the Argentinian, the manager could stick with the 4-man defence or move Cambiasso into the backline.
  • Sneijder is close to a full recovery and may even be called up in the next two rounds.
  • Pulga is in a completely different situation compared to his opposite number, as he will have his full squad available for the trip to Milan.
  • Dossena and Ekdal are battling for the last free spot in the midfield, where Conti and Nainggolan should be safe to play.
  • Pinilla and Sau are expected to start up front, but Nenè is also ready to play.

  • Inter threw away the psychological advantage they had on Juventus after beating them, and proved to be a little weak when missing their typical defence that had played so well before their match in Bergamo. Stramaccioni needs three points here, because dropping them to Cagliari could mean letting Juventus run clear.
  • Cagliari had an impressive run of victories but have only got one point in their last two matches. Pulga will definitely travel to San Siro to try and get a draw and prepare for the next match with a couple of consecutive good results.
  • This time "Strama" will not be able to sit and wait for his opponent as the Sardinians will probably use the same strategy. Therefore Inter will have to be the team trying to initiate the attacks, which is something they still have to improve at. However, the quality of the home players should be enough to win them three points and keep the pressure on Juve.

  • F*** that referee!

  • no silvestre please

  • Ranocchia probably will sit on the bench, Samuel out again will be available at least in ten days. So defense is in emergency and vulnerable, I think Inter will concede at least one goal.
